A total of 395,971 alerts were sent to users of the NHS Covid-19 app in England and Wales in the week to July 28 telling them they had been in close contact with someone who had tested positive for coronavirus.

It's a drop of 43%, with figures for the previous week showing 690,129 alerts were sent on the app, according to government statistics.

You take for granted it was delayed by Delta but you have no quotes from Paramount confirming that. Kind of alarmist to put that in the headline. You could mention it in the body of the story as a possible reason. By putting it in the headline it seems like you have a twisted desire to trigger a domino effect of delayed release dates. I guess if there’s one thing we’ve learned through all this, it’s that fear generates clicks.
