The car has had it's pre-delivery checks and is ready to drive off the forecourt. Now, if we can only oppease the guy who removes the ASH from the boiler who has had his Swargfega allowance cut we are ready to go!
Someone needs to educate 'Hat Trick' Hall on the fact that MSAR works perfectly well with scrubbers, getting rid of ALL THE BLACK CARBON before they even have to reportedly ineffectively try. He really shouldn't invest, and especially TOP UP in something about which he has clearly zero understanding.
Scrubbers less effective than MSAR against Black Carbon "The 2017 update of study, titled Investigation of appropriate control measures (abatement technologies) to reduce Black Carbon emissions from international shipping, confirms that the black carbon abatement technologies with the greatest potential are (in descending order): LNG, diesel particulate filters, fuel emulsions and scrubbers." http://www.motorship.com/news101/ships-equipment/scrubbers-vs-black-carbon-more-research-needed I wonder how much adblue you'd need to clean a DPF on a 50,000 tonner?!
Noose All the little pieces of the jigsaw are coming togeter, fear not. A great team on the forum are still finding them. Re your other point (you tease, you know he loves the attention!) I'm afaid it'll be a little while yet, looking over on ADVFLEN, in between Len's highly informative citizen's advice posts, AH has announced to the internet and all East Anglia's fellons that he departs Southampton on 21 March for 25 nights on the Aurora (bargain outside cabins still available!) . Look out in April for an English-Latin dictionary and a hardbound, laminated copy of "Trolling for Dummies" to be for sale on the black market. But, oh, what's this?! He's topped up!!! ..the hypocrite! ..perhaps one of his misrepresenting emails to QFI's customers / clients has come up with some information that's too good to miss. You wait, when this takes off he'll suddenly have more shares than anyone. In other news, and in typical Bragemia style there's the totally unrelevant news that he's taking a Tesla for a test drive ...word is that TOT will be, later today, opening the crowdfunding for the heavylift rocket option to be fitted. "Preparation H, counteracting annoying r-soles for decades."
http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/air-pollution-uk-shipping-levels-record-environment-fumes-damage-nitrogen-dioxide-sulphur-a8189691.html "Toxic nitrogen dioxide emissions around major ports and sea routes in the UK are four times higher than previously suggested, according to a report for the Government. " ..course, LSHFO will sort that won't it? ....NO! Fear not though, as the IMO has been answering all the frequently asked questions ... https://www.maritime-executive.com/article/imo-answers-questions-on-the-2020-sox-regulation
That board is completely without moderation. Three out of four other board admins can't be wrong in banning 'Hat Trick' Hall from their sites with his lies, abuse, misinformation and deceipt culminating in attempts to the manipulate the price in this stock. What is it he has against this small British company, making progress in an uphill struggle to bring about what could be one of the most disruptive technologies this century? Full admiration for 'Bomber Len' over there with his armament of JP233's loaded with disregards. A Batman of QFI holders, he's effectively sucking the oxygen that is craved from that peurile abuser of posters on all other boards. There's a DFC waiting for you over on the Forum Len!
Just for fun... Go to 2358'42.87"N 3814'12.57"E .... zoom in, what do you see? Press the ' History ' button. ..These weren't here a year ago. Much more on the forum ;-) Just sayin
Article from The Guardian September last year https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/sep/05/cruise-ships-showed-contempt-for-customers-by-breaking-clean-air-pledge-report-says Interesting and worth a revisit now in that there are now comments beneath mentioning Quadrise and MSAR Isn't it intriguiing that top QFI hater and proponent of doom for the company, Alan 'Hat trick' Hall is an advocate of the cruising pastime on his outside balcony? I agree, it's a unique experience, where else can you share a toilet with 3000 other gastro enteritus sufferers whilst listening to Jane MacDonald blurt out the same song for the 100th time? All that whilst breathing numerous parts per million of PM's and Black soot to help scramble your brain. (no prizes for guessing I'm not a fan) Surely AH should be the loudest proponent for clean air on ships and any technology that can go some way to acheiving it? One can only guess that the PM's have already taken effect.
For Len30!
Usually not long bobm1, you should be in now.
So, looks like Brookie's attempt to manipulate the SP after a weekend of distaste has been successful? No doubt hes gloating now? Lets hope the FCA (see email address above), have teeth, and very sharp ones!
Latest patent application https://goo.gl/TawQAf these take a few years to get through the grant process. From Rob's notes of the AGM on the forumwhich have NOT been contested in any way... MK said that the KSA trial timetable was still in line for the combustion element to start in the second half of 2018. There were also various opportunities for marine and the JGC MOA had been signed. Jason Miles then took over the presentation. MK said the project is to commence in 2017. The combustion element is to commence H2 2018. Clearly by the Dec 30 RNS, the project has more than commenced!
Hugh, have you been to the Brookemia school of AGM interpretation? The MD said nothing of the sort. Perhaps the JGC RNS did though. Re AN, a quiestion was recently asked of IR on the forum (I thought you joined?) ..."I asked IR if chemical supply was something they could comment on and were they likely to be able to supply demand early doors if there were a sudden surge. Reply below..... Yes, Akzo are aware of the potential increase in demand and we have factored this in to our planning.
Interesting post on iii by Brooktard concerning the not limitless supply of residue in KSA from which MSAR can be manufactured. As he is on mass ignore over there (hilarious) I can advise him that this is indeed correct I'm afraid. With the help of the excellent data provided on the forum of late I can advise that with a revenue to QFI of around $10 per tonne of MSAR and with a P/E ratio of around 20, that KSA's heavy oil generation alone would limit the QFI share price to just a measly 7! Good job Japan is on the case too!
Mrmole Residue is (solid) gloop left over to which they add diesel to help it flow at high temperatures. This is HFO MSAR replaces the diesel by suspending microscopic pieces of the residue in just enough water to make it flow at ambient temperatures. This means the diesel can be sold off for a much higher price, hundreds of dollars. The residue ain't much use on the roads in Saudi, gets a bit soft!
" the wise sage Brookie on III" I'd say more 'Nutmeg' personally!
Rising oil price poses another profitablity problem for containership operators https://theloadstar.co.uk/rising-oil-price-poses-another-profitablity-problem-containership-operators/ With the new 0.5% global sulphur cap coming into force in 2020, carriers will also be casting an apprehensive eye at the respective rising cost of low-sulphur fuel oil (LSFO), currently around $600 per tonne, compared with $460 12 months ago. How sad..
..however, the released cutter stock (diesel) which has now been replaced by water, can be sold on at todays prices of over $540 / tonne. This is where the real numbers come in! ..Not to mention the savings in piping / transporting / storing MSAR which does not need to be heated to keep fluid AND the reduced ash produced by the furnace that needs logistics and storage / disposal. It really is a win-win-win
Hugh, he's well ahead of you, those figures take that all into account so that would be the gain for an equivalent amount of electricity generated !
