13,387 sale didn't sit it out for long. Likely to be buy on 8th Nov ;-)
More buys today than cumulative buy/sells since 25th Oct to this morning.
I'm very surprised this did not cause a dip in price this morning but not complaining. I've said it before this is a slow moving industry to be in and you don't go out purchasing or renting gear until you are lined up to use it. Haste lands you in the ditch
You in blue for WMH now chancers? I've a little bit to go yet
They are not their. uuurrrghhh!
As it is their assets and their the field operator keeping tabs on CERP is the best bet IMO. I know it's over simplifying everything but at the current stage PRD are really just a Vendor in to complete a trial.
The last RNS confirmed workover on both were complete but then went on about surveys whereas earlier RNS mentioned plugging. I really need to look into it to get it in my head which are the injectors and which are the producers but I'm back to work later this week so will get some time then.
I would expect to have an update when they commence injection and would guess four weeks from then until we get first results but that is just guesswork as I have no real knowledge of the distances between wells.

Oh my! some chunky buys today
Yeah I also pushed the boat out and bought some CERP, 500GBPs worth. Today is also pretty good day for me accross the board with only a couple of reds but more important it is chopper o'clock today and I fly back onshore to catch up on 4 weeks of beer. All opinions shared in the next could of days are likely to be nonsense :-)
It reads as if part of the survey includes plugging off the lower section of the reservoir now which would allow time to monitor the plug save time when it comes to delivering the completion.
"The preferred Predator downhole completion design to potentially achieve optimum efficiency for CO2 injection by isolating specific reservoir sands was determined as being operationally viable. In preparation for CO2 enhanced oil recovery operations a key interval of reservoir section chosen for the first CO2 injectivity test was successfully isolated from the deeper reservoirs with the setting of a cast iron bridge plug" Lovely!
Not great for me either chancers. Do you know anything about MSMN? I've just noticed how much movement they go through. I'm not planning on anything just wondering if you have looked at them at all, you come across as having looked into a wide range of stock
:-)
Share price at 4.35 but lowest trade is 4.5????
A Chart, where is this?
The pace is slow but we move slowly, it's the nature of this industry especially with something 'new' that involves maybe multiple service companies
Another factor I omitted to take into account earlier is that these wells belong to CERP not PRD so that will add another dimension as CERP has a duty of care to it's shareholders to ensure that nothing is missed that could foul the well long term.
I've never witnessed CO2 injection or the results as it's not awfully common this side of the world so a lot of this is rough educated guess from not too dissimilar operations.
Hi Zebra. It's going to be a little more complex than leak testing. You can do that by throwing a gauge on a suitable point then close the valves and monitor.
To deliver the CO2 to the correct zone it has to be directed there or it will migrate into the lowest pressure (highest) zone and be useless. To do this will require some intervention tool to pack off and isolate the specific zone that communicates with the paired producer well.
There is no point in hiring the equipment to deliver this intervention tools down hole only to find out there is an obstruction that prevents it being set and sealing off the zone. It is also likely that the service provider is going to want to cover their back and require confirmation that there are no obstructions in the hole so if anything does happen and they get stuck in hole they are not held responsible.
Google intervention or service packers to get an idea of the kind of tool it is likely to be. I cannot find any specific to gas Injection right now as I'm supposed to be working ;-)
Lovely, sounds like Morocco continues as per planned timeline and independent of Trinidad excursion from planned timeline. Trinidad news is also welcome, lets hope that there isn't crepe and they find nice spot to set a packer for completion.
The whole Weald thing does not gel with me. I worked 25 years in this industry and gut instinct is how could this 'bonanza' have been overlooked for so long by so many when it is on the doorstep. Wytch farm has been producing since late 70s so to miss everything else is hmmmm but good luck to them and they certainly having it today.
Meanwhile we got Morocco to look forward to. I was here pre Morocco announcement so after some reading and checking with some Tunisian folk familiar with the area that was just icing on cake.
Hah! I'm in WMH too. Not near blue yet for me but it's looking brighter than when we were bouncing on 130.
I see UKOG is going up again, are they going to caught in a spike again for the nth time.
Would that be another 300K buy or a publication error ? Same time as the one on Wednesday.
