Following media reports regarding a publication by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Argentine government's position regarding activities in the Falkland Islands, including with respect to the Partnership in connection with its activities in the Sea Lion Project, the Partnership wishes to clarify that the statement in the publication is consistent with the description given in section 26.15 of the Partnership's 2024 Periodic Report published on March 24, 2025 (Reference Number: 2025-01-019584) and that it is not aware of any change in the legal situation regarding its activities in the Falkland Islands.
The Partnership operates under valid petroleum licenses granted to it by law by the Government of the Falkland Islands, a UK Overseas Territory. For further details, see sections 8.4, 20 and 21 of the 2024 Periodic Report.
The Partnership does not believe that this publication will affect its plans to advance a Final Investment Decision (FID) in the second half of the year. For further details, see the Board of Directors' Report included in the Second Quarter Report for 2025 published on August 28, 2025 (Reference Number: 2025-01-064645).
The above estimates regarding the receipt of the final investment decision (FID) and its date are forward-looking information within the meaning of the Securities Law 5728-1968, in accordance with the Partnership's estimates, which are based, inter alia, on engineering, economic and other information, and which depend on a variety of factors including, inter alia, the completion of the engineering design of the development outline (FEED), receipt of regulatory approvals, etc. The above estimates may not be realized or may be realized in a materially different manner if changes and/or delays occur in a variety of factors, as well as if the estimates received, and/or the operational and technical conditions and/or the financial and financing conditions and/or the regulatory conditions change, and/or due to unforeseen factors related to the activities for the development of the Sea Lion project.
