SP will come good. As peoples purses tighten, Wetherspoons footfall will rise, like the Poundshops etc. I’ve never seen a quiet spoons. Rising prices won’t stop people supping, young uns will just get another credit card and wack the jugs and shots on it.

So many new Wetherspoons bars over the last 10 years. Obviously great value venues, attractive to customers from various walks of life. Many bars are less than 5 years old, so fresh, decent loos, some with outdoor spaces. Where as I had to spend £3.50 a pint, now can have Ruddles at 99p, our lass can fill her boots on goldfish bowls of ???? and still go home with wallet full of brownies. Oh, it’s table service too. Will pop into a local walking home, for the nostalgic experience and spend a brownie.

The rise to .34, maybe find there was another dilution. As for pipe dreamer Rolf, his screen time is like buzz word bingo from 20 years ago. Shovel ready lol. Worst aim company I’ve seen for years.

Had the pleasure of visiting Blackpool last July. First time in 10 years. There’s the spoons by the tower, was pleasantly surprised to find the one by Blackpool South train station replaced, by an Art Deco style one opposite the water world, golden shower place.
Ground floor, upper floor alfresco - didn’t go in, couldn’t get in - queue 50 yards long.
Beautiful boozer, Wetherspoons ingrained in part of social life, demographically ingrained for many, the norm for youngsters.

Packed with older drinkers 12 until 2:30, also eating. Good job they haven’t all returned otherwise place would be jam packed.
Another good thing is No Dogs. Any pub displaying Muddy Paws Welcome gets a wide berth.

Most towns in Uk have a Wetherspoons now, selling pints for 99p or £1.99.
Other pubs in high street still £3.60, £4.

I used to brew at a brewery, occasionally got Wetherspoons contract to star on the pumps.
A cask to a pub was, £72. Other micro’s would sell £62 a cask. The Wetherspoons contract was £40 a cask, still profit for the brewery and it was done and gone.

Agree, everyone I’ve been in, at various times of the day, always flow of customers, food, drinks.
It’s like the UKs choice of holiday in the 1960s, which was Butlins.
Wetherspoons is becoming part of British life, value for money - definitely beer, food is better than a lot of places at twice the price. Lidl do ok, Primark do ok, Spoons- how can they go wrong ?
