Interesting piece on the BBC world service about Italy using a 15min nasal swab test at Rome / Milan airports to screen passengers with the plan to roll the testing out to other airports and international flights. Any ideas who’s test they are using?
“ RE: RnsToday 07:34
The last RNS :
This test will be used in the primary care settings, such as GP surgeries and for other professional use
Am I right in assuming that the ODX test will not be sold directly to Jo public?

"Am I missing something?
They announced the completion of the usability study but haven’t published the outcome."
That's because the usability study only concluded yesterday. UofU will have to collate results and publish them formally. I'd suspect either later this week or early next week, by the time it's worked through internal governance and sign off procedures. That will trigger formal MHRA approval.”
Thanks for the clarification
The last RNS :
This test will be used in the primary care settings, such as GP surgeries and for other professional use and has been subject to successful independent validation by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and St George's, University of London.
No mention of result from this usability study?

Home antibody tests for Covid-19 go back on sale in UK
Coronavirus antibody tests designed for use at home are back on sale in the UK following months of wrangling over their regulatory approval and a temporary ban by the government in May.
The non-profit Testing For All has launched an at-home antibody testing kit for £39 using a finger-prick sampling kit manufactured by the Swiss pharmaceutical company Roche. Diagnostics company Better2Know is also selling an at-home test for £139, manufactured by UK pharmaceutical company Virus Respiratory Research.
Both test manufacturers validated their finger-prick tests — used to determine if Covid-19 antibodies are present in an individual’s bloodstream and whether or not they have had the virus — in August. The Better2Know tests also claim to provide information on the level of antibodies detected in the blood.
I got caught out when the sp was around 9-10p but managed to average down when it dropped to 6p so got out without getting burned at 8p. Buying back in around 6p would give you 2 options, firstly it is likely to swing around from 6-8p for sometime to come so there’s an opportunity to get a quick 20-30% return. Many shares have behaved in a similar way, take a look at ODX. Otherwise you could leave your investment in place with a hope for a long term return- however confident folks are about the sp circumstances change - it’s all a gamble.
Hopefully no one got caught out 2 weeks ago when it was pushing 8p?
Moving back to my buy-back-in price of 6p
The telegraph article doesn’t mention the companies
The last RNS stopped us slumping back down to the low 50’s. this one may keep us in the 60’s after the excitement dies down.
Don’t expect this to show any significant rise without new good news. We had a similar rise the other day/ then the fall. I’m happy to be proved wrong as I’m still invested.
Still feeling the after effects of the earlier placing?
All the cards have been on the table for a while now so need something new to avoid a drift back to 6p.
Been there done that but keeping a watch to get back in at 6p.
‘ The four companies in the consortium — Abingdon Health, Omega Diagnostics, BBI Solutions and CIGA Healthcare — aim to supply 1m tests to the government per week by the end of November.
The consortium claimed its test was found to be 98.6 per cent accurate in “secret human trials” but has not made the data publicly available, leading to frustration among diagnostics researchers and competitors.’
Why hasn’t the data been made publicly available?
Realistically I’d be happy with a 30% return on my investment. What are the banks paying at the moment 0.1%? I’m not dreaming of a x? return. Would be surprised that any good news gets the sp above 2p. Then time to move on. Yes I’ve been luck with the rare winner such and SNG. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
