Suppose I took up all the rights , and sold all those back at the earliest possible date. I would make an instant profit wouldnt I? Provided the sp hadnt dropped suddenly. what do you think?

Is it for show or to do serious work? More often than not, they build something impressive to boost up their assets price and wait for a takeover.

Shikuj- using our hard earned cash to pay debt, isn't what I would call a "sound investment". but then again, if that is what the market wants then it is the right way to go forward. After all, one has to please markets. I assume the AQP management knows better. When in doubt, I always go back to the fundamentals. ie platinium prices and productivity. At the moment. neither seems to be in working order.

On-going strike in South africa has caused a serious shortfall in platinum supply. How come this hasn't reflected in aqp share price.? High level talks will take place soon over pay dispute. Has anyone got any comment on this?

At the current prices, I would expect the finnish goverment to get involved in funding soon. There is a shortage of nickel supply due to the ukrain crisis and a ban of production in indonesia I suppose as long as the above conditions persist, talv is a good buy.

Agree. On the other hand, world economy is now much better than it was 5 or 6 years ago. Demand is expected to pick up.

The nickel price has gone up by 2% today due to sanctions to Russia. If demand goes up as well, then we could be expecting a big jump in sp.

Nickel price will cushion the impact of falling sp. If only, we had had a good data from China, the sp would have shot up.
