I would advise BT engineers to think again before considering taking strike action. Back in 1994 engineers thought by taking strike action they would have BT on it knees. What management learned was how resilient the network was and with the drop of reported faults by customers, the amount of faults that are actually caused daily by BT engineers working on their own network.
