Quite right Bronxville, I'm an Englishman with Scots and Irish ancestry. I came to live in the Highlands of Scotland and boy, is the anti-English sentiment bubbling away a la Highland clearances etc. After over 15 years here most neighbours still don't give the time of day. The friendliest, by contrast, are from the Islands and West coast which really bore the brunt. I should have moved somewhere, where the English are, er, liked...maybe... Blackpool.

Come to Inverness, courses abound here, public and private. Which reminds me Castle Stewart has the Scottish Open. Not forgetting the Speyside whisky trail on the N.E. Trump's Menie course is nearer Aberdeen which is a few hours in the car. Nice when the weathers good.
