I had the pleasure of sitting down with Stewart Dickson, a former investment banker who is now leading one of the UK’s most ambitious clean-energy projects. As CEO of Weardale Lithium, he is driving plans to extract lithium from deep beneath County Durham and create the country’s first home-grown supply of this critical battery metal.

The numbers are staggering. The project could produce up to 10,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate each year, enough to power around 250,000 electric vehicles, inject more than £1 billion into the regional economy and support over 125 high-value jobs.

The Bottom Line: Sancus is currently "running hot." They have a very large debt engine (liabilities) powering a very small profit margin. They are betting that growing their loan book to over £300m+ will eventually create enough scale to make that £0.1m profit look more substantial.

So £1m profit with huge debt to its name......

Market makers spiking this, will fall hard.....

Sancus Lending Group (listed on AIM as LEND) has been actively restructuring its debt and securing new funding facilities throughout 2024 and 2025.

Value of company is one thing and price fluctuating is different, not the same.

Market makers always gives opportunities, without market makers giving opportunities no one will be able to make money.
