I too, bought some VAL but only about £200 worth. And I’ve still some KDR but bought £3400 worth ( now valued at £170!). Tadpole Technology did well for me a few years ago and also NXT (not Next).

Yes, I too read the FB page about the posties accusing Rico of insider trading. I answered a few but gave up after a while. I even had one of my old colleagues calling me a knob!

Mad, I despair of you at times. Royal Mail is a business, agreed? Business needs customers to pay the employees, agreed? If you go on strike those customers might think to go elsewhere. And where does that lead us to? No business, no income and guess what, no money to pay the employees. And as for “corporate greed” why shouldn’t anyone who owns shares want the value of them to rise and get an income from them? If you owned your own business wouldn’t you want the profit from it?

No matter what this proposed pay offer comprises the CWU will still push for a strike. They could be offered 10 grand a week and they’d still want more!

The previous CEO didn’t buy as many shares as Rico...

It’s good to see Rico buying more shares. Is he obliged to buy or is he just seeing it as a good investment? Thoughts anyone?

Hi Red. Yes we’re probably going to try Tonbridge for one maybe two years so that my legal eagle can come home every night. She starts a new 4 day a week job with Linklaters in April.
