Edinlass , there has been so much pain with this stock relentlessly falling , some people will probably be thinking if I get my money back or a bit more ide be glad to see the back of it . I have to say o was when it fell to 72 pence .
Momentum & sentiment has defo changed, general market down us up , MM is just waiting to stick the Big Boot into the short sellers , after all who wouldn’t if they was him & certainly if he’s selling to PE , he will want top Doller !
I drove down the M62 today for the 1st time , not been down this end of the country since lockdown .
Nearly freaked out when I drove past the THG unit , it was absolutely mammoth , Gigantic & the car park was full to the Brim . I was just Gobsmacked & the Jeff Bezos words which keep repeating in this board came instantly to mind , ime going to be maxing mine & mrs postis Isa come the new tax year & forget about these for a while . ( it’s the only way )

In the Mail today
One of the UK's own 'tech' firms – though some critics have argued it is more of a retail conglomerate – has had a torrid time since listing on the stock market in 2020.
THG, or The Hut Group, listed at 500p per share, but it is now worth just 95.75p, even after climbing 4.6 per cent, or 4.2p, yesterday.
One of the key concerns, when the firm floated, was corporate governance. Investors worried that there weren't enough truly independent board directors to keep in check THG's boss and founder Matt Moulding. THG repeatedly insisted it would hire more directors, and must have breathed a sigh of relief when it finally installed Tiffany Hall in 2021 to chair the remuneration committee. But Hall stepped down with immediate effect yesterday 'for family reasons'.
Damien Sanders, a former Deloitte partner who was brought onto the board in late 2020, will now temporarily head up the remuneration committee – leaving him with the unenviable job of leading discussions on the pay of Moulding and other executives.
Given that boo just have a fairly positive statement & the sp has took it ok ish . THG can’t do any worse , they have a lot of news the market is waiting for & will start to anticipate in the next week or so . Let’s hope MM & team don’t start to deflect the answers to the questions we are patiently waiting for .
Thanks for the reply Tenners & others I may add another 25k shares soon . , ime quite fortunate ( if you can say that ) my average is in the £1.30s . I bought in 3 large transactions on the BV article thinking I was going to miss out , my own fault. I watched the capital markets call today & that ingenuity bit sold it too me , just can’t fathom why the city boys weren’t impressed with it . As sp28 keeps stressing SoftBank will take up their option in his opinion time will tell & that would be the holly grail for me at this stage . Why this MM is not clarifying a lot of the unanswered questions is crazy imho & there are quite a few . Why would he be waiting till April & final numbers day to answer them all at Once other than to shaft the short attackers !
( wishful thinking) . The big question for me is why no chairman yet is it cos no one wants this job ? .
Like others I want to at least get my cash back so I can take advantage of so many bargain stocks out there at the moment. May be get £5.96 in June July & go on share shopping spree in autumn .
, what will be will be . Must learn not to Constantly watch the Sp .
GLA.
There are so many things to clarify & update us on as you have listed out . Boo never gave anything else away today apart from usual numbers. So ime not counting on THG announcing or clarifying the points you have made . I really hope ime wrong & we get all the answers to all the ?s as ime deep underwater. When the sp keeps falling like this you start to think more , suppose when MM first talked about taking it private was a bluff to back the shorters off , if that was his intention it hasn’t worked yet . If the Directors start buying as you say they will , then that should see the scum run for the Hills .
I hear you , it’s gotsta recover soon , can see it going lower as no news flow , but once it starts it should halt the Rot I would think ( fingers crossed) . Unless In April with the Actual numbers we get a Quindell type revelation. Ime down 50% in a matter of weeks.
Only thing is to hold it’s only a paper loss I keep saying, hope ime right as can’t really afford this .

Mr Simmons
Didn’t MM get his massive bonus when shares went from IPO
price to £8 , hence he’s not bothered about the sp now
MM has 18 months or so to hit a £7.5bn valuation, which I’m sure he’ll want to do, to bag his performance shares. No idea whether that’s possible now but if I were him I’d be plotting the best way to at least give myself a chance. It’s fallen from £8 in 12 months and can return pretty quickly too, if he executed a good plan.
