I posted up a few from my potential multibaggers at start of May in my 'bank holiday reading' thread on here.

-CBX moved 120%+

-CDL moved 500%+ (crazy)

-ALBA moved 100%+

-ARB moved 100%+

Also had a nice trade on both

-FAB 50%+

-EDL 80%+

-GSCU 60%+

Looking back in Q1 also have a couple of nice movers in PAT and CNR.

I didn't catch the full move on any of the above as that's almost impossible to do.

All highly volatile shares that move quickly (both directions)

Almost all were either 'bear trap reversals' or 'mean reversion plays' which I know Tro also looks for and have seen him on a couple of them.

I'll look at putting a new bank holiday reading thread together in Augurst for second half of the year to look at some other opportunities to discuss as I enjoy reading all the contributions and ideas on here.

Give it a year or two Dai and you'll have memorised all the Company's on AIM

+ All the CEO's + all the many can kicking stories and excuses they regularly churn out : -)

Every so often you do get the occasional genuine multibaggers so guess we have to take the rough with the smooth in this market place

I have a watch list and notes. I also just enjoy doing a deep dive into all fhe back history and interviews and newsflow expected.

There isn't many junior miners that I won't know the history on.

Notes written down so I can quickly recall what news is expected, where they are in the cycle and likely price catalysts

Overlay some T/A and fundamentals and that's about it.

I'd add that in addition and mainly relevant to the micro cap explorers it's always good ro have a feel for what their cash position is and burn rate as helps get a better feel for when a placing is due.

I do also keep a close scrutiny of the bb's to read the sentiment.

Also, some basic geology helps to sort the wheat from the chaff when exploration results are released to know what is genuinely commercial or not as the case may be.

It might sound a strange thing to say, but often some of the most badly run & poorly managed companies that lurch from one bailout to another are the best to trade as they have the highest level of volatility in their SP.

Pretty much exactly a bag for those that took the opportunity around 0.10 when I mentioned this one.

Or far worse news than a placing?

All the bashers gone quiet today... hmm.

Another poster over there has recently done the calculations on the net assets + proft vs present market cap :-)

It's also on the low of its trading range if you zoom out on the charts.

Anyone who has been short the stock on over the past year has made a tidy sum

A bit like ITM power.. another one 90% down from its peak.

Mentioned it previously as its been one of the most shorted stocks on the FTSE over the past 12-18 months.

Recent filed accounts showed it has Net cash at the year-end of £281m

The disclosed short positions have started to reduce from the start of the year and those remaining shorts will have to close at some stage

If they continue to push the SP down from its present market cap of £439m to around the cash held value of £281m I'm thinking those remaining shorts might fully close out then and it could bounce from that level, so keeping that one on the radar also as a idea as its rare you see a company that was once worth many billions now reduced to a little over a cash shell.

BOO and ASOS are the other two that nearly fall into this category and have been shorted to pieces over the past couple of years

ASOS was once a 300 x bagger at one time..

What goes up.... ...

Just happy to be patient and not jump in with a full position until they have bottomed.

I just scanned their accounts to compare.vs market cap.

Nets assets are circa 6m

Net cash circa 1.45m

Market cap 3m

They did two drill programs last year at a total cost of 778,247.

Director wages are 300,000 so technically they have cash for another 18months and could still afford to do a couple of drills with that top up grant of 220,000 bumping up cash to around 1.7m

But I'd expect some kinda raise to be done.

Price has been walked down.

Suspect this is getting close the the bottom of its 90% downtrend.

The bashing is starting to ease up on the BB

New broker appointed at end of May so could be a placing around the corner.

But also must be near to announcement of new drill program once the permits are received.

Market cap 3m with 1.4m held in cash and now trading below net assets as was CDL so when it reverses it could move up in a similar fashion.

keeping a close eye on it for now.

I know, I sold as the volume was drying up on the day and couldn't sell in one go but could sell out across a few trades, but it's since followed through with momentum.

Maybe news is incoming on their oil or lithium plays

They always said Q3 for initial oil revenues from their 3 Wells so maybe that is actually happening behind the scenes.

No information on the BB either so folks just happy to blindly trade the price action atm which cam lead to getting locked in if the price reverses and you are holding a sizable position.

All those hydrogen sector stocks have very similar charts when you zoom out over the past few years.

I didn't catch the interview but I feel like at some stage the government will come out with some new central funding commitment and major multi billion pound incentives to add development of leading hydrogen based power as part of the UK's commitment to Net Zero and energy security and once that news breaks combined with all the usual media mafia hyping them up they will all be off to the races again :-))

Either way I was completely closed out by lunchtime and happy with that for now.

Different rules for AIM listed shares when doing placings, but most AIM listed shares include a motion in their agm to waive all preemptive rights for shareholders and as most PI's don't understand or particularly care these motions just get passed unopposed and basically the aim listed Co's can then do what they like hence why it's called the wild West.

Main market have maximum 20% dilution rules and anything over that requires mandatory prospectus to be issued so when they announce prospectus you know some big share issuance is in the pipeline.
