Always the same situation when companies either run out of cash or are unable to meet their ongoing debt obligations the market sells off aggressively which then exasperates the situation further if the company was hoping to raise from the markets and then finds that it can't due to its share price having been crushed.

If they don't find a resolution the SP just continues to spiral further downwards until the final writing is on the wall at which point you then often see the gamblers come out and start to play like we saw with CINE in its final days.

mr diez brings to the company more than 24 years of sector experience and a broad understanding of the mining industry, acquired through significant corporate, operational and project development roles in chile, australia, ****stan and brazil.

he joins from gold fields where he led its chile operations overseeing the development of the salares norte project, a high-grade, gold-silver, open-pit deposit situated in the high andes of northern chile. previously he held several senior leadership positions at yamana gold. he has also served as mining expert (latam) at mckinsey & company and development roles at both xstrata and anto***asta. he was a board member of minera alumbrera ltd. and has also been chairman of the board of directors of mara a (joint venture between yamana, glencore and newmont) and minera alumbrera limited.

mr diez has a bachelor degree of mining engineering from the universidad de chile, an mba from the institute for executive development and is a certified project manager (stanford university).

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX/AIM: ARV) (Artemis or the Company) is pleased to advise that the lithium pegmatite focused maiden Diamond Drilling (DDH) program at the Osborne JV tenement E47/3719, a joint venture (51% GRE: 49% ARV) held with Greentech Metals Ltd (ASX: GRE) is continuing as planned with the first hole completed to a depth of 810.2m.

Executive Director George Ventouras commented: "This first diamond hole is the culmination of extensive ground reconnaissance and analysis by the technical team. It is a confirmation of the rock chip and soil sampling results that have been achieved to date and suggests that we are on the right exploration pathway. We are looking forward to continuing with the drilling program and to further confirm the extent of lithium mineralisation".

Several more diamond drill holes will be completed as part of this maiden drill program. These drill holes will be sited at both the Osborne and Kobe pegmatite trends within the Osborne JV tenement, aimed at providing stratigraphic/structural information and subsurface characteristics of these pegmatite zones. This data will assist with refining the detailed follow-up drill program scheduled for early next year.

Details of Drill hole 23GTDD001

The initial drill hole 23GTDD001 was sited to the north of the Southern Pegmatite zone (Table 1) at a location previously heritage cleared for drilling. The hole was drilled to the south at a declination of 40O to primarily test the Osborne trend and also intersect the Wally trend albeit in a position where surface mapping indicates the Wally trend is attenuated (Figures 1 and 2). The hole was designed to further understand host rock geology and test down dip structural controls of surface outcropping lithium pegmatites previously identified from recently completed mapping and chip sampling programs. The drill hole was terminated at 810.2m depth, still within mineralisation.

The Southern LCT pegmatite zone sits within the Osborne JV Project tenements and comprises a total combined 4km of pegmatite strike along which previous rock chip samples have returned assay results of up to 3.63% Li2O1.

The initial observations from this drill hole appear very encouraging and are summarised as follows:

· Multiple zones of north dipping stacked pegmatites have been identified down dip of Wally and Osborne.

· Individual pegmatite drill hole intersection widths range up to 24.6m

· A zone at least 57m wide comprising a series of closely stacked pegmatites has been intersected below 753m depth.

· Preliminary interpretation suggests the Osborne pegmatite outcrop zone extends from surface down dip for at least 550m.

· Hole terminated within a pegmatite zone at 810.20m indicating the system remains open at depth

Viera is in APTA and took some in the last placing but he only really posts over on Val.

He would probably know as much as anyone about that one.

I managed to catch that big one day spike back earlier this year.

But.... you know by now what I'm going to say about 2021 IPO's that listed at crazy valuations that year.. :-))

I agree however that on the right news landing it'll be difficult to hold back and all the traders will be all over it like back in June when it flew up over 100%+ intra day.

It's still early days in terms or starting to model up the resource here that's what the RC program will start to do

They may end up doing both an open pit initially and then given the initial results suggest the resource remains open at depth then it may go on to be an underground mine.

There will need to be lots more drilling before any of that as they need to move through the PEA / PFS / DFS /FID stages etc first

I suspect they will have no problem raising a decent chunk of cash to support ongoing operations.

Maybe take on a cornerstone investor or two or JV with a major.

All options should be on the table.

Open pit.. and potentially a Super pit if it's a big as they think it is.

Considering they started off the exploration work originally targeting copper, they have 'accidentally' discovered a massive titanium resource.. lol

Truely incredible turnaround in this company over the past year.

· Highest grade drilling results reported to date with second and third completed diamond drillholes both intersecting thick, bedded intervals of high-grade titanium mineralisation.

· Drillhole DD23TOM001, the second of the three diamond drillholes, intersected:

o 297.1m @ 6.10% TiO2 from 111.4m

o including 51.6m @ 7.12% TiO2 from 326.0m.

· Drillhole DD23COS001, the third diamond drillhole completed, intersected:

o 173.2m @ 5.76% TiO2 from 18.6m

o including 58.7m @ 6.32% TiO2 from 24.0m.

· Latest drill results complement the previously reported, thick high-grade interval (276.5m @ 4.57% TiO2 from 80.5m) from the first diamond drillhole DD23MTS001 (announced 20 November 2023).

· All three diamond drillholes completed to date have intersected strong, sediment-hosted titanium mineralisation throughout the length of each hole, including thick, higher grade, bedded intervals, with the bottom of each hole stopped in mineralisation.

It was another 'blood in the streets' play just over a year ago.

As a guess Dai. The simplest rationale I could provide for HOC is that traders who have basically bagged in this one over the past year may have been skimming some of these profits today to play in some of the other PM miners that haven't yet moved. But look ripe for a move up.
