I don’t disagree with a word of what you say.
I linked the Times article simply in response to Shatter’s comment of 09.33 yesterday which questioned my assertion that a statement regarding lab time had been made.
I had also commented previously that Eurofins has some 40 labs in the UK and is therefore not affected by the European holiday shut down.
Interesting that, in the Times, the CEO berates the ‘Government’ labs. I had not picked up on that. I am surprised that Sym appear not to have any Government lobbying power to accelerate availability.

I did not expect any earth shattering announcement as a result of my e-mail but I hoped to hear a slightly more upbeat summary.
What I got was the Office Manager simply doing her job and regurgitating previous statements.

I received a prompt reply saying that they were still waiting for lab time and would inform the market when appropriate.

I think if I lacked confidence I would quietly dispose of my shares.

I agree with Pds regarding patience. However, I don’t think we can place the blame on feckless French holidaymakers as Eurofins has 800 labs in 50 countries - including the UK.

The link you posted was from 7 April where it was stated that they are waiting for lab time to prove the efficacy against human Coronavirus.

Almost five months later and ....... nada.

And so we see the SP drop, and drop and drop. People like me begin to doubt and the naysayers rub their hands in glee.

As I said, there is a lot of quality, expertise and business diversity in the BoD. I am just praying that they are simply waiting for the optimum moment to release the news we are waiting for.

No, I will back SYM. My original buy was 7.7p and I have topped up since. Laurier’s last interview was just about the most animated I have seen him - and I don’t believe he is prone to hyperbole.

However, I find it extremely interesting that somebody pops up out of nowhere expressing, shall we say - ‘doubts’ - about claims and decides to addresses them to this discussion board in particular.

I can see no other reason than to de-ramp and set a hare running.

If the author is genuinely concerned about our ignorance and wellbeing then he really should contact Symphony asking for comment and clarification.

As you can see, we are not (by and large) scientists - just simple private investors. We have been thwarted by fake science in the past.
