Sat with over 5 million of this stock and getting to the squeaky bum time. I dare not buy any more, at the end of the day, if the market flys I am well positioned with this stock. It owes me more than 2 p a share so need it to go up from here. However, I firmly believe that if California gets the vote, it has to be good for us in some capacity.

My only concern as previously posted is very poor communication from the board, but who knows what’s happening behind the scenes? It’s retirement money or keep on with the day job for me!!!!

A big drop today plenty of selling but no news at all interesting. As we have been saying any small buy or sells have a huge impact on the share price

Following on from whl post if we get Arizona we will have the 10 states needed to be able to comply with the bill. It is a bit vague though as to how the 10 licences are made up. You would think if we were one licence short, the board would be going hell for leather to comply with that part of the bill.

Whatever the outcome, you would have to assume that if they legalise betting in California and with all of the other states relaxing their rules on gambling there has to be a bright future for Webis. Gambling is already massive in the States and is just going to get bigger over time , as they relax the rules in more states.

You would also assume that big Jim and the rest of the board have a direction for the company whatever the outcome of this vote. Remember, the company does make a profit already all be it modest, and this should continue to advance as more states turn the tap on

The 2 things that need to be clarified atm is do we have a licence in 10 states? Also, the track that we currently operate in does not appear to be one of the tracks in question on the proposed ballot?

My perception is that we must be in a strong position with regard to all of this. It will probably mean that we get bought out by a big player, but I am not sure.

It would be comforting and informative to get an RNS from the board outlining what this could all mean and an update on current trading would be useful. We do appear to be radio silent on news, and as like we all could be this winter, a little in the dark!!

It’s the lull before the impending storm I think. Did you notice no postings since my last one and yesterday only 1 tiny sell the only trade of the day. Everyone is just sitting on their hands and backing their optimism

Yes, it was a painful drop first thing this morning I was down over £30k sadly at one stage but it’s picked back up slightly again. This stock could bounce about quite a lot in the near term, but I think we will get some positive news soon. This share is still very cheap, and a lot of firms will want to get in on the action. Having the licences we have, and the control of the racetrack in California makes us a very attractive proposition whatever the outcome in November. Based on previous comments from the board, we have clearly had quite a lot of interest in the past from would be suitors, we only need one to make the right bid and we will all be handsomely remunerated.

One final thought, there is so few shares changing hands on a daily basis, almost everyone is sitting on the fence to wait and see what happens.

I have bought twice since I last posted £2500 at the end of th day today and yesterday, minimal volume almost the perfect storm this looks very positive

I bought another 2 grand at 2.71 at the close on Friday, it might drift even lower and if so will buy some more. This share is now very cheap again and any news should see a significant rise in the price. I think the price has gone down as most small penny shares have dropped over the last couple of weeks, as some people are licking their wounds.

We should take comfort from the fact that this is a growing business and it makes a good profit comparatively and with more states signing up to gambling it should keep growing. This is all without the California call entering the fray, this might not happen this year, but if you are prepared to be really patient, I believe we will be thoroughly rewarded!

I’m not sure what will happen with California this year if anything. However, the general consensus is to accept betting in most states so I struggle to see why at some point it must happen. The interesting thing about gambling is, most Californians or other Americans who want to bet are already doing it illegally so why not take advantage of the T income tax stream? I was the last buy again today, I keep buying as the price is so cheap, in poker terms I am all in but in my opinion I have 4 aces so quietly confident.

I bought yet another £3000 today at 292 still so cheap. Can somebody please post the times article for us to see on the site, I am really keen on the read. Onwards and upwards ??

I am not sure we will have to wait until November, I think there will be some very productive news a lot sooner than that. My gut feeling is that we will be bought out or merge with somebody before then, the share is just so cheap. As more states allow gambling, it can only add to our business model. This is a bet to nothing, the company stacks up as a viable business and should grow significant irrespective of what happens in California, that is just the big icing on the cake. Remember this share has been at almost 7 pence in the last year, any return to those levels even makes for a very sizeable profit. The thing that stands out with this share is that hardly anybody seems to be selling, everyone is sitting tight atm which bodes very well

I could not resist buying another 5 grand at 2.68 today was going to wait until the 5th and put in my isa but thought I would top up. FOMO springs to mind, I have this feeling atm buy whilst they are really cheap!

Hi there, I also sat on my hands but this will bounce around for the next few weeks on no news probably. Not sure anything in it as such, but something will happen very soon, keep the faith we will be rewarded

Hi , I get your frustration, I hold 4750000, but would be buying more if I dare take the risk.This is one to sit on your hands and hold, this could move up at any time. Not really sure why it is now so cheap as the latest RNS had many positive aspects. I guess it’s just about all the uncertainty at the moment. However, one things for certain, if the dip in the markets and the Ukraine crisis has an effect on the world economies long term, California will be looking to add revenue streams and we have the perfect fit

I have lost on paper a tremendous amount of money today. However, I have made 3 more purchases today at 2.98 and 2.7 and 2.69 twitchy bum time but I believe a fantastic cheap purchase. Now hold almost 5000000 shares will not be selling anytime soon other than a bit of trading. The board still stated they felt the stock was undervalued and I am inclined to agree. This is a bet to nothing, I either retire or keep working!,,, we will be successful if we stay in the game and positive.

I’m afraid I’m guilty of 3 of them, could not resist more at this price. The half year update should be imminent and with the Super Bowl looming, I expect some hopefully positive news. We are now only 9 months away from the California vote.

I now hold almost 1% of the company, and intend to keep buying. This is my huge bet to nothing, I think this share will fly, we just have to be patient perhaps! However, we could here some news that brings the spike much quicker.

Not sure why there is a big seller, unless they have lost their patience or nerve. My gut feeling is this is as low as web will go based on the fundamentals of the business and net profit margin. I bought a little again at 3.27 earlier in the week. This will be the year, fireworks will happen it’s not if it’s when. I have never been more excited by the prospects of a share, as they are worth 3 plus pence if nothing was to happen ever in California. This is a punt to nothing in my mind. My buy was at 9.25 but they have assumed it’s a sell for some reason
