The share price is the market cap (x the amount of shares by the price)
At £2.40 we have no support and over the next short while I can see the sp tanking
Yes I was in then but at that time when CNOOC joined the party this was all the rage and it was just about to really take off, or so we thought, and when I realised it hadn't, as I took my eye off the ball it was too late. Ever since then it has just been different directors basically filling their own pockets, or so it seems, lots of broken promises and timelines and differing strategies.
This share / company has been nothing but hot air for the 10/11 years I've been here. Very frustrating really, such huge potential initially.
Although I don't keep my eye on this much now, having been here for 10 years + I can't remember him buying, or if he did when was it and under what name??
I have been in ANR for about 10 / 12 years and all I can say is, keep the focus, not drilled yet, nothing proven yet so don't get too carried away. And I am not trying to be too negative, seen this enthusiasm so many times before with ANR.
Like I said last week, just because N.L. is seen at waste plant in some far off country (from Aus) doesn't mean it's got anything to do with ANR
Just because N.L. is pictured at that plant it may have absolutely nothing to do with ANR, is he not involved in other companies??? from what I can make out, deal done a few days ago, no ANR RNS, just be careful not to get carried away.
They may be legally obligated, but they don't always follow the letter of the law, that is what I am saying.
Having been invested in the AIM for longer than I can remember there are many instances where the large seller has not informed the company of their sells, it is their responsibility inform not the company, and they don't always tell.
I genuinely feel that N.L. did us no favours by quite openly admitting a few months ago the fact that ANR was already up for sale, just about admitting he was here for a quick buck.
It is up to the seller to tell the company whether they have bought or sold and then the company has a legal obligation to tell the public/shareholders, there is no legal obligation for the seller to tell, or rather nobody enforces it.
I suggest you go and do your homework
No the biggest problem here is the fact that we have been promised so much, so many times over the last 10 years and we are now in a position to maybe bear fruit but nobody really believes it, us long, long term holders have seen this many times before and I am sceptical about dry coal here and will only believe it when I see it. When I first bought in to this dream we were supposed to be having mega income by now and a huge dividend to boot, all we have really is yet another change of BOD and 5 times more shares that are worth b u g g e r all.
reggie, he can't have that big a plan/s for ANR he quite openly says "we are for sale today" and again, he quite openly says, we will only take this to BFS and sell, so where does his big plan fit in to that?
Unless that 2 x 1m was your rollover I cannot see any mm doing a rollover for 10 the minimum I ever got charged for rollovers when I was trading shares was 100 and even that was a massive fight to get.
Guzzler I can assure you 100% I have no axe to grind with any one.
reggie72, I think everyone is missing the point in what yasx is trying to put across, I have been in this share for 10 years?? and seen some pretty stupid things done by the BOD. Yasx is right in saying that if this was such a fantastic company why on earth did Sino Aus not snap it up for 1m when they had the placing? and why such a stupid price at that placing and by the BOD own admission could not find any funds anywhere, so were basically desperate. I also can see that it "Seems" like something is happening here now, but having been investing in shares for so long you must see both sides of every story, I would only say that I hope something is going on here but I am very, very wary of all the hype as we are sat on a water basin and it has been said before that we have "wet coal" so not suitable for anything else basically, I hope that I am proved wrong.
