Sailor, I completely share your frustration, I have had loads of weddings and funerals with shares and lost a lot more money on other shares that I have held than I stand to lose here, though not easy you take the rough with the smooth and reflect on your investment decisions and I have stopped averaging down as a rule. PFC has been a different frustration, due to the radio silence I averaged down three days ago thinking if it kept going down the company would surely RNS something to reassure investors, by not doing this they have created so much uncertainty and played into the hands of the short sellers, they need to say something for better or worse.

In 9:4 paragraphs there is 9:5 about leaks of sensitive information and informing the market, well judging by the share price decline and the massive increase in shorts I would suspect that this has happened, either that or everything is fine and we should all fill our boots, so corrupt.

Hopefully, the Weekend Press will run some kind of article or speculate on the corrupt events that are happening here and it will force the company to RNS "In response to press speculation". Shareholders are always the last to know, and shorters are always the first to know.

The decline in share price has been dreadful for shareholders and you often see when there have been articles in the press that companies respond with an RNS "in response to press speculation" Is it not possible for PFC to say "We know of no reason for the recent share price decline and look forward to updating the market on the 20th December" is that market sensitive information or would it considered to be manipulation. This a genuine question no abuse, please, well done Clungeseeker much better to talk than to abuse even if people post what we would rather not see.

Despite the inevitable criticism good informative post Johnychainlocker, whats happening here is utterly disgraceful, shorters must have inside information to be increasing their shorts at this already very low and distressed share price. The Company's silence and lack of Director buying over the last six months says everything you need to know. I am 50% down on my investment after averaging down 2 days ago(I was hoping for a calming reassuring RNS) and I will stick with it for the time being in the hope that PFC pull a rabbit out of the hat if it comes down to a Rights Issue I will sell, looks like we will have a frustrating three weeks till all is revealed, until then shorters are firmly in control.

I agree Servalan, I note that You have been a member for 6 months and this was your first post, I look at the length of membership and not the number of posts as I believe that members who post less frequently are more considered in their posting than people who post every 5 minutes. At the moment shorters are in full control here and I am 50% down on my investment, any good news will change that until then shorters will remain in control.

Another company whose share price has been in a continual downward trajectory in the last year hitting an all-time low a month ago and there has not been one single director purchase this year, only one big winner here, and that is Mr Bradshaw of Goldaming.

I agree with what you said redwineday I dipped my toe today(15000 shares), and at this low share price I will expect to see board members buying shares if this does not happen and there is no bounce in the share price I will sell with a loss once again.

Wow, how fortunes can change it was only 18 months ago I was getting dividends and the company was buying shares back at 50,60, and 70p. I purchased it quite heavily at 20p, but it showed no sign of bouncing so sold at a 10% loss, and have been watching on the sidelines since I certainly find the current price compelling,but am nervous about the entire stock market at the moment as they are frought with dangers on many fronts

I don't post very often , and I have never had a post removed, that was until I got involved with Davidkov(the whole thread was removed including contributions by others)I don't think it was anything I wrote that caused the Thread removal but Davidkov walks a fine line with his comments, and he's a real contradiction one minute buy, the next sell and I think he's best ignored. For what it is worth my thoughts are that the whole economic and political situation at the moment is one that is not conducive for investing in just about anything at the moment while I believe the UK market offers value, I think the US markets are way overvalued and if they dip we dip with them, I do believe UK stocks are cheap but could well get even cheaper, so I personally am 90% cash(the 10% I have in shares has performed dreadfully, especially a dreadful investment in Synthomer) and I'm waiting for things to hopefully improve.GLA.

Jupiter must be buying the Synn Rights off shareholders to have built such a large stake in the last week as nowhere near the % holding they have acquired has been traded this week. It is interesting what Poleaxe suggested about the arbitrage shorting and I had not considered this angle and the shorting may be temporary, I got spooked by the huge increase in shorts and sold up entirely yesterday. I wish I had listened to the many contributors who warned on this RI, I will take a look again when the dust has settled.GLA.

M1600 I am sorry I have no answers to both questions asked regarding future profits and future share price as I don't pluck figures out of the air or speculate on what is unknown. Jupiter Fund Management (50 billion under management)seems to think the current price is a good entry point, and had I not already purchased prior to RI I would definitely be taking a position here at the current SP.

People just pluck numbers like £1 out of the air with nothing to substantiate that figure why not 50p 20p 10p, or £100 if it suits, if it does go to £1 or less it probably means bankruptcy is on the horizon(having just received £280 million). This share is being hammered and justifiably so they have taken on debt at a time when debt-ridden companies are being hammered across the board they probably way overpaid for the purchase that has caused this RI but as has been pointed out by several contributors this is a profitable company, and should have had the RI when making the purchase of the Eastman resins business, though this would undoubtedly have had a detrimental effect on the share price at that time it would not have been as distressful as this has proven to be at the moment. The decision holders have to make is do they believe the recovery story or not, I will be taking a leap of faith and will be taking up the rights (providing the price does not fall below £1.97)as I believe most scenarios are priced in at the current SP.

I agree with all that you have written Ozzie, Wizz is an excellent business, In my earlier post I mentioned Vod, Mars, and Mobico as all very good enterprises and all very undervalued(along with many, many others), but in the current market, they are all punished because of the debt that they carry. Large debt with any company is problematic at the moment regardless of the quality of the organization and explains the disconnect in the price action of Wizz and Iag to that of Ezj.

It is all about debt at the moment and Wizz is full of debt. There are many great companies suffering from suppressed share prices because their debt is to big Vodafone, Marstons, and National Express, to name a few, all household names and market leaders in what they do, but all straddled with huge debt and interest rates continuing to rise. All of these companies' share prices will continue to be under pressure until interest rates stop rising or start to fall.
