Wolf, completely agree mate, balance sheet is horrific. However, this is one of them shares that you can’t go by the balance sheet alone. There is potential also in play when it comes to cine, you have to keep in mind a big portion of their debt is with buying Regal, which they paid 3.5 billion for and their closing during the lockdown. Uk imposed a very strong lockdown, especially for cinemas and theatres.
There are many hidden hands at play, when it comes to companies like cine, they won’t let it just go under, there will be many attempts to save it or restructure it first. Look at where their sites are, malls and retail parks rely on their customers footfall.
This is just a punt for me, I’m assuming it’s a safe punt at 3.30p. I’m guessing this is going to roller coaster for the next few days, till some concrete news becomes available. I’ve taken risks like this, many times and except adv, they all have paid off.
Having said what I have, there is still a huge risk and yes this still could go bankrupt.
