Today's trading (as well as other days)

Unfortunately the rules governing market makers in this market are not clear to me. But, we should be suspicious of trading when a lot of trades are cancelled and then reposted. The factors causing these erratic trades are unknown to us, but the frequency of them is hard to understand. Trade report accuracy of is paramount importance in reflecting the true nature of trading activity in a given security. While perhaps unintended, FOG and perhaps many other securities have too many inaccurate and confusing trades. The regulators should check out why this continues occurring..

Appreciate your summary of what some chatroomers consider "noise" when I discuss where we are after 8 years of no net gain or worse. My prior prediction of 10-12p for FOG still seems reasonable given the extent of continued selling and length of time until the proverbial "bit" hits the ground. Short of an out of the blue corporate event, there appears little reason for the shares to trade up; conversely, good reason to drift down, as the apparent forced selling will continue until completed. On that subject, someone must know the amount of remaining shares to be sold. It would be helpful to know where that stands, as putting together a final block trade to clean the decks would be nice. If anyone knows why someone close to the action has not already done so, there certainly a number of us who would like to know and perhaps have the option to consider participating in cleaning up this selling, a sort of "secondary offering" as we call it in the U.S. markets. As much as POQ wants the price to go up, it is difficult to see why if he has not looked into such a trade, what is the reason.

Reading some recent comments, reminds me of the old expression "timing is everything". In FOG's case given our tiny size, it would not have taken much revenue to get us healthy and avoid whatever dilution we possibly face. Regarding the comments grading POQ, he is in a tough position, as he has done some things well, while others are of questionable value, i.e. as in the case of traveling the world to "meet and greet", which NET has done little except consume more precious funds than you might imagine.

Rather than "trying" to come up with something to say, which many times results in the share price jumping around and letting the market makers laugh all the way to the bank, i.e. sitting there feeding the short-term traders the sellers' shares until it is evident what was said generally was not worth a short term trade. At the point the "players" realize the greater fool theory is not going to rescue them, the shares reverse and in the end drive FOG lower as they abandon ship for another day. Why not understand, we are in the back of the bus and along for the ride. Thus, if FOG would simply file their required quarterly statement without hyperbole, we would likely just continue to see FOG "bop along" like a snail until we have some real news from Origin.

FOG is simply not a trading stock in my opinion, because frankly currently the odds are stacked against one. FOG is a long-term speculation with what will be either good or bad results, pure and simple. Go for a walk and enjoy what you can do and dream if you want, but realize this unfortunately has been a relatively poor investment for many and hopefully better are to come in 2019.

funds raised after drilling with minimal dilution ..if any....not certain you understand exactly what my comments are. the point is there is DILUTION; the question is how much, which is determined both by amount raised and price.

wish I had 2m shares so i could whine and not want appreciation...as "whine" that is your opinion. I feel those with the kind of background I have will totally understand the factual realities of my comments. The fact some get repeated is due to comments some make that seem to not totally understand my point. As to my holdings and my assuming it might add conviction to my analysis provided for others. absolutely no intent to intimidate anyone. I suspect others have as much or more.

We still have a long ways to go and once again a spike in the price will be met by the selling until finished. It will be obvious by the price action, when the market makers cannot trade with the confidence they currently do, because once the selling is gone, we should see a much better trading pattern if POQs'' comments prove true.

Glad some are feeling better after attending the AGM, but we still have quite a bit that needs to happen in the way of discovery to get FOG's price to not only rise but stay up. It is going to be a challenge to develop enough substantial drilling results to get the share price to a level where doing an underwriting is possible without substantial dilution. If FOG needs to fund its 30% of several hundred $ million, you can do the math and likewise understand the possibilities we face if the dilution takes a lot of our upside out. If some new drilling results can get the share price back to the $0.40-.50 area we might have a chance for a decent return. That said, it is still reasonable to expect issues along the way that can crack the price on occasion. Fingers crossed for all of you.

Could not state the obvious any better than your quotable: "Well now that the price has been walked down to the 52 week low and options have been issued". Proves again, silence is GOLDEN.

Until we hear otherwise, this morning's comment from "Silverback", pretty well sums up what we all know. When you are seated at the back of a big bus, going for a ride somewhere and cannot see the driver, you can understand this comment: "Wilting like a wet lettuce". Still, have not seen anything on the meeting except the cryptic legal notice the meeting took place. No explanation added, as just from the back of the bus, the driver is the only one who can clearly see the road. Nap time

In response, it is unfortunate we are pretty much in the dark. But, not being the operator of our lease, puts us exactly such a position. Let's just hope they was a meeting and it was worth attending for some hoped for, helping next steps etal.

Like you, I wish there was a live feed to meeting so questions could be asked. Do look forward to any observations from those who attended today's AGM, assuming it took place? Price action suggests the meeting was a real "yawner", but best to await any feedback, so as to comment further.

Kind of lively discussion here today, which is nice to see. Some comments are appropriate about the time mentioned where I was off a couple of years. When you get to my age missing an exact date is not that important in the context of the purpose in my "chatting". I understood what FOG needed to do from the beginning. In the beginning my position may have been 500,000 shares more or less or about $100k. Generally a position smaller than that is not something I consider but my contact who recommended this seem to have basis facts right. To tell you the truth the first few years, I hardly kept up with events or know who the board members were. But, as the general was doing well and FOG, while having its moments in the sun, has been overtime in the "horizontal position"!

Only after seeing the critical cash position declining did my concerns start, as without funding the picture is not pretty when you back is to the wall, and believe me we are nearing that position. This AGM ought to be an event where something of substance comes out because the Beetaloo has been further detailed. Whether we are told anything new is up to Origin and if they decline to comment, I would judge that a position. If such is the case, I feel sorry for POQ as the menu of topics of concern is limited and cash is an issue. For whatever reason, an unexpectedly further delay will be NEGATIVE, as we need to buy time by raising additional funding or negotiate a deal that we have to take because we possibly have no other choice. Of course Viktor etal can make their own place to keep things going to do not expect to be rewarded just because you are a shareholder. We are in crunch. Yes, there are always unknowns for us because that is the way securities law works. We will all find out soon enough, whether we live for another day. Hopefully, something positive happens that I failed to contemplate.

Unless someone asks me to clarify something or has a question, my fingers will most probably be in the rest position until we hear from the AGM. Hopefully, this story has a good ending, as it would be nice for all shareholders after a story the Hollywood writers would have had a hard time imagining. But, it life for sure. Good luck all

Totally agree, like you and most, a good sustained rise in share price would be great. Unfortunately, as mentioned in prior comments, our prospect appears good, but the issue revolves around some poor management decisions. While enjoying the perks of being a board member, FOG's board has favored themselves entirely and now leave the non-option holders like you and me holding the bag so to speak. If FOG had undertaken a fundraising which I suggested was necessary years ago to POQ, we would not be worrying about that, but of course a few other issues. Being a good management means keeping oneself from getting to close to the financial brink, as we are. That said, there is always a chance someone will bail us out. But under the circumstances, any gain would be limited, due to waiting too long to strengthen our balance sheet.

Congratulations in stating in so few well-chosen words what our situation is. In my defense, my repetitious comments seemed necessary and must say a few of our fellow chat friends understand the need to stand up and not be ignored by the board of directors. Let's hope the AGM is different than past ones. We may have some unpleasant news, i.e. the just discovered idea we need additional funding or some yet unannounced change in the drilling situation? The future for FOG is a bigger question now.

Thanks to ITguy, we have some accurate dates versus my earlier estimates. My first purchase based on a recommendation from a friend was 3/25/2010 at $0.19. Subsequently, POQ's hire-on day we are told is 5/1/2012, the S&P 500 stood at 1,341.27 and the closest quote available was on 5/4/2012 and a price of ~$0.22. Last Friday's closing price (10/12/2018) was ~$0.21.

By way of companion on 5/1/2012 the S&P 500 stood at 1,341.27 and last Friday's (10/12/2018) closing price was 2,767.13. There is no need to pull out your calculators or slide rules, as we all can see FOG has been "flat as a pancake" during this period, while S&P 500 has increased slightly more than 100%. To top this off, our 3 prospects are for all practical purposes down to a one, the Beetaloo.

In summary to those shareholders invested as long or longer than I, it is fair to say we inherited drilling prospects, a modest balance sheet and a market value that even down from its high prices, still offered the board and thus all shareholders an opportunity to take advantage of the market price to improve FOG's financial position with a reasonable amount dilution. There is no need to elaborate further on where matters stand now. If you go to the shareholder AGM and feel you must bite your tongue at some point, please feel free to stand up and point out there have been decisions made that have put our backs to the wall and we did not need that to be the case.

Good luck to all, as we need every bit we can get, including the hope, we do not getting massively diluted twice this year, once with options and secondly a much belated possible additional financing.

Since POQ has never used the word "we" (meaning the board of directors and himself) with me in conversation; rather, "I" all the time, it is hard to know what, if any input he gets from the board, except how many options are we granting ourselves this year. At this point my holdings are still the same at 2 million and if it gets to 10 as mentioned in the past and things with Origin continue, it might be time to add for those with strong stomachs. In the past this is kind of situation, despite the distance, my involvement, whether asked for or not, would have kicked in. All of the past venture, worked out very well, but with in some cases with new names on the doors. At my age it is best to try to share comments based on long experience and let those of you at bit close to the seen, make yourselves hear. We probably are about to get the "raw end of a deal, due to ....of our leaders", but the fact remains the prospect is interesting enough to me to hold my small position and try to help / answer questions. Thanks for your comment and would interpret the announcement a bit differently. POQ, despite his repeated statements FOG has the cash resources to see us through the drilling, is perhaps realizing we don't have enough cash cushion to give comfort to shareholders, to continue the cost of funding an office and jetting around the world to hold hands of some long time "pained" shareholders. As he really has nothing new to disclose since the operator knows to keep most of what they know "tight".

Fortunately someone continues to accumulate shares during this decline, the only positive sign I am aware of. We all must appreciate the benefit and downside of not being an operator of the prospect; some know and some do not. When one is in the dark with no flashlight, you are searching in vain for light or a "voice" with the facts as to where the exit is. We have no flashlight and neither does FOG. If there is something "material" that benefits shareholders that should be disclosed in a timely fashion.

In closing, POQ is in a difficult position. He has little he can say, but feels the need to be nursemaid to his sickened shareholders. Time and events are closing in on all of us and as the Disney cartoon "Mighty Mouse" says in a "tongue and cheek" matter "POQ is here to save the day". Time is short

Yes, it's me again. Below is a comment written yesterday, which I decided to sleep on at. Nothing surprisedly this morning FOG tips its hand on something, but who knows what it is. Due to the nature of such matters the extended time period to get on with the drilling has taken its toll; just look at the share price and extensive chatroom comments. Here is my comment written yesterday:

Recent detailed comments in this chatroom regarding Australias' agendas, roadblocks and other matters effecting our collective interests, continue to show some useful knowledge is available amongst you. Please keep in mind the road ahead is still not clear; but perhaps, the AGM will provide some insight into the next leg of our journey. However, remember these twists and turns are consuming time and our precious cash reserves LIMITED AT BEST.

Over the last several weeks my efforts on regulatory research has been only partially fruitful in seeing what option the company might have to aid itself in the event of further delays. The Canadian securities regulations are different in some ways than what I am familiar with. In fact, several well-intending persons answering their phones mean well, but the question presented them is something generally not asked. At this point one of you may have the answer for my question of the required amount of cash on the balance sheet to apply reverse split allowing underwriters to do their job. While I do not have all the answers, my belief is the company has ignored requests to consider such a reverse split. If POQ and the board knew the company did not have the minimum assets required to apply, why not say so and not waste your and my time? If the board has known this to be the case, and at least one shareholder inquired whether we could consider such, all shareholder are entitled to be told "we do not qualify financially for a reverse split; therefore, cannot pursue this corporate action". If in fact the board has known this all along, i.e. we do not qualify to apply for a reverse split, the board in my opinion has not been forthcoming with its shareholders. Hopefully, the AGM will provide us all the facts, good or bad, but don't cross your figures.
