Where was the announcement to say there was going to be a press conference, it was always just an announcement wasn't it?
It was just hype talk on this board, same as the 1.5p price expectation, too much excitement and hope, then when people try to be sensible you get called a deramper.
GLA with your positions, i hope you all get what you need, but stay sane.
I think its a legitimate comment on the government buying in to a discovery.
If they are serious about the 2021 plan outlined in the link below then oil & gas might not be favourable on the list of investment avenues, any farm in partner will be smart enough to want to know the government position upfront rather than invest in oil fields and then lobby them for their approval after. We have to consider the political aspect of this discovery too, not just the obvious commercial viability.
fyi - i hold a small position. but i'm small time so DYOR

Suppose both Shell AND Total stike oil with their drillign campains, excellent results, the shareprice will SURELY Rocket for GBP?!
But will it... clearly the licence runs out for GBP in 2022, whats to prevent another party coming in a buying/obtaining the licence from the Namibian government? Is this scenario still a risk to us as shareholders, does anyone have any insight to that?
I havent got the house bet on this stock but its considerable for my portfolio, i'm holding for now.
Would those that have experience be able to shed some light on the Shell and Total drilling timescales, with the drill ships in the basin waters, once drilling starts how many days/weeks/months does it take to see results from these explorations generally?
Likewise, where is best to keep upto date with these news outlets?
I'm not looking for a timescale of when we will see 1, 2, 3p in share price because who on earth knows - im interested to understand the general timescales of these types of operation, am following gas exploration drills elswhere but i assume drilling from a ship is entirely different from anything i can understand from there.
Cannot for the life of me understand why frustration has come out this morning in many posts.
For weeks there has been optimism, not one poster on this board thinks this is anything but a successful company, and now frustrated because no RNS posted this morning when you had 'hoped' there would be.
What's a few more days or even weeks to wait, are we that desperate for a bounce, most will already have a great profit anyway.
The epitome of investor patience this morning.
Haven't seen a single 'in DM we trust post' lets have one now.
Good luck all, happy to wait myself.
I'm glad to say i may have been proven wrong already, seeing 30p would suit me into the weekend.
Like most of you guys, selling wont happen until it starts with a £1 or £2 anyway
Love these excited Fridays in anticipation of RNS, what ever will we do with those Fridays when it comes.
Not sure RNS is coming as early as Monday, in the recent interview from this morning's Directors talk post, DM said they have not started drilling the main chamber beyond 600 yet as the work this week was on the wedge and sidetrack.
Happy to be wrong, and happy to wait for later in the week for RNS, very exiting indeed following this journey and hopeful for the discovery in Tai-1
Have a great weekend everyone, have an even greater week next!
I think this will go down again today, so close to any RNS, until we receive it i don't think a rise will happen as people cant help themselves but get twitchy.
Monday was a day of expectation that didn't come.
Holding 40k shares until all three wells are drilled. Minimum.
So imagine the CEO has been on a twitter charm offensive, everything is going well, the stockprice is rising faster than a spring tide and here we are all invested and excited. He flies to Tanzania and does the old Leonardo DiCaprio and says 'catch me if you can' ...
A'La David Walsh of Bre-X Mining - See film 'Gold (2017)' starring Matthew McConaughey
Just imagine. I'm happy to admit my 40k shares will look like a huge egg on face.
Exciting ride though isn't it... lets keep it going.
