Outstanding news for me, Steve Kesler is vital in the achieving the transition to production for this company. In my view he is the experienced hand in this country at achieving the operational status of this mine. Great news to have him promoted.
The whole board is excellent in my eyes.
Maha Daoudi's CV is also outstanding, her experience looks absolutely ideal for the companies needs at this time, this looks to be another very shrewd move by Aldo and team.
This is all lining up very nicely indeed, buying in as much as i can get at this 50p level.
Looking to have production late 2025 is a very nice line. The company is pushing for this date - golden news - excitement is stirred again with this
Have to say i cant disagree with the train of thought there RD.
Policy makers like to make sure the optics sit with them.
Specifics would be difficult to detail, as you say dealing with the politics of it would be a difficult path to navigate respectfully and if done right the way CTL bringing DLE to market in a post nationalized Chile, having paid taxes / royalties for upto 8 years to the government could make it a cost neutral process for the nationalized mining company to commence producing Li. Theoretically.
Exiting couple of years ahead.
As a holder since IPO... All of the questions around resource have been answered for me, the upcoming confirmation in FB resource would cement that we already know., such is the trust in results the board have delivered.
The big query i would like discussion to be around from now on would be the production licences, how the government fits into that and if CTL will actually be granted these licences to move forward to production and profit making. That, for me is the biggest risk in play at present.
Its all rosy producing a timeline to production presentation, but there is light information on when the licences will be applied for and how long these take for approval. I'm not one for criticizing this team but more info would sit well with me.
It is a factual statement to be fair.
Simple bit of research would tell any unsuspecting board reader that the lithium price is still historically very high and over 3 times the price that CTL have based their entire research on.
This Morning's RNS kind of answers the economies of scale debate here.
Multiple drills, with 2 companies, the offering for a drill provider. Shrewd business, keeping cost managed makes for shareholder satisfaction as less dilution required down the line, theoretically.
Still holding the bag, still believing, needs delivery in the next 6-8 months.
Good luck all.
Strong buy still, dont blame profit taking, we have seen over 35% this week.
I bought in on day 1 IPO. Still strong holding, see alot of value in this yet upto 2026 and beyond as things develop
Well done all, a good weekend ahead.
Good news flow from the media, this should pick up in the next week or two, first of the scheduled company attendances to conference season commences Wednesday next week.
Another meeting the following week in Miami.
Those of us already here know the opportunity is brilliant, any new investors turned on from these planned events will hopefully bolster this period of growth in SP. Good Luck all, enjoy this ride.
CTL in my view are stand out to all Li prospects due to their BOD, and the location being Chile and the green energy available to power the DLE equipment required for production.
Attractive ESG credentials to EU purchasers
Free trade agreement to the US
Very (possibly the finest, in the Chairman re Escondida) experienced BOD in funding mine production
World leading DLE tech ordered
World leading partner in KMX
Short lead time to production in 2026 (Shareholder returns)
Llamara now on the table with license granted, let's see if the SP bucks recent trend for a drop on news with a 3rd prospect now open to exploration.
Llamara is huge, Q2 will be interesting to compare with the LV FB figures from early stage
Strongly reiterates what Steve Kesler has been working towards i assume from the times i have heard Steve speak it has always been with focus on the EU market, until recently where it was said that US markets were also a focus, there is so much Li in the ground at LV and FB i don't suppose we need to be picky in where it is sold to geographically.
An in person visit from EU leader may make production licences for proven CTL resource a fast track process down the line.
Strong upside. Eagerly await more news on FB scoping study and ongoing drilling.
New mid 50's trading range, around or below average volume and 3 straight days of gains so far upto almost 100% on IPO
This is a bargain all the way up to £1, then with FB scoping study its a bargain all the way up to £2. By which point we will have some news on discussions around offtakes. We hit £3 on that news, along with licence upgrades.
Not much more to say, this BOD has my confidence entirely to deliver.
I'll be buying all i can get my hands on / funds allow.

"Global battery demand is projected to increase 14 fold by 2030 and EU demand could be the second highest worldwide"
Regardless of what you think about the EU energy generation policies, the battery supply chain must meet demands set upon them, CTL nailed on to meet these zero emission demands.
Likewise car manufacturers NEED to build BEV to stay in business (VW Fined 150m EUR for not selling enough BEV)
https://industryeurope.com/sectors/transportation/eu-hits-vw-with-100m-in-fines-after-missed-emissions-targets/
The battery demand is only just beginning, the infrastructure demand on the other hand... that's where the risk is.
The next new battery tech being talked about - "Solid state batteries require up to 35% more lithium than current lithium-ion battery technology, but they use far less graphite and cobalt, which is mostly mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo"
https://electrek.co/2022/07/19/how-solid-state-ev-batteries-could-cut-emissions-by-up-to-39/
ESG credentials strong for the CTL product. +
More demand for high quality Li ++
Bang on queue for CTL delivery of current projects -

I have thoroughly enjoyed the two occasions Gordon has spoken this week. Great to hear about his inception to the company too.
Gordon speaking in a frank manner about the great financials we have has been a refreshing pivot from the discussions Aldo has been having since March on the geology and process work, not that i haven't enjoyed those exposures in the past, it just feels like we are moving on now. As was always the plan.
More excellent work by the BOD.
Looking forward to Q2 to understand the results those three drilling rigs are currently working on.
Behind a paywall but ... https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/10/lithium-shares-cleantech-lithium-ctl-could-rise-600percent-analyst-says.html
"This global lithium stock is up 15% since its IPO — and one bank says it could jump 600%"
Listing in US would be great opportunity.
