Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Amazing news today and a total game changeover in the oncology world imo.
Cancer has had a devastating effect on my family in recent times and I know all too well about the horrible side effects of chemotherapy, this technology offers real hope that future patients will suffer far less and with improved outcomes.
Good luck everyone.

It could be a good move for the company to bring in new blood under the new management structure. I’m sure the company is buzzing right now with data on 6000 just weeks away, I’m sure they’ve had plenty of applicants for the vacated roles.
The critical folks are still there which is the main thing and Avacta has attracted plenty of great talent the last 12 months, especially in senior roles, scientific advisors etc.

AVA6000 poster clearly got plenty of interest stateside.
I want to thank everyone who stopped by at our AVA6000 poster today at AACR in New Orleans. What a response! We were delighted with your interest. Lots of great questions and discussions. It’s been a good day!

Morning everyone.
What a lovely week and great to see the market finally waking up to the unrivalled potential of Avacta’s therapeutics platforms.
After a difficult couple of months on a personal level, the past couple of weeks have been most welcome.
Good luck everyone it’s been some journey:)
Indeed you was Monkshood.
Let’s be honest, going after Spike only was a mistake. Making the test as robust as possible should have been the primary aim, they went for Spike for performance reasons but it’s back fired badly due to mutations.
Still not convinced we would have displaced the Chinese though, both due to costs and time taken to get HUA.
Also not convinced it will come back still, margins just don’t stack up for me.
Morning everyone.
Really liked this update this morning just felt the confidence shone through.

More good signs for AVA6000 is perfectly on track:)
I really do hope your right Energyshares, like I said earlier I treat the Affimer platform as a bonus right now. Even if no major progress is made I’m more than comfortable with my investment as I believe Precision will be a game changer for cancer patients.
Removed from the website end of last year and RNS foot notes recently. I also noticed Matt Vincent changed his bio and removed being part of a joint steering committee for the Moderna collaboration last year.
Avacta have been working with Moderna since 2015, surely something would have happened by now considering how cash Rich Moderna are?
I’m pretty certain the partnership is dead. All word of Moderna has been removed from the website and RNS foot notes. Moderna are on record as having no interest in small molecule drugs also.
Shame that Moderna and ADC are gone, but I feel we’re well placed with the Precision platform. For me anything coming the Affimer side is a bonus, though AffyXell does look interesting.
Yes the dosing levels would be my guess.
In the pre-clinical animal work Avacta took the dose all the way up 12mg/kg of AVA6000 compared to 2mg/kg of dox, hence a massive increase of cleaved dox in the tumour. I personally can’t see the investigators signing off on such an increased dose in humans. I think we’ll settle on a significantly higher dose of 6000, just not anywhere near the level of the animal work. However increased cycles and patient eligibility will be just as an important end goal and will give great benefit to patients.
Thanks guys
Indeed there is CO, money comes and goes it’s family that really matters. Glad to be back though and things looking up on the outside.
Afraid not beinthelad, but great to see all the same.
Now let’s finish the week off in style!
