JP will be getting his consultancy fee whether I buy or not. I'm happy with my average and will hold for the long run. Time will tell who was right. My money my choice. I have absolutely no interest or see any point in telling lies on here. It wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference anyway. Gl

Believe or don't, I couldn't care less.
I didn't get chance to read the letter this morning which looks to have been taken down, therefore can't comment on the detail. I'm guessing though the company will simply state they can't comment on any aspects of the proposed deal until it has been officially announced and that all shareholders will get their opportunity to vote at the general meeting.
Whilst we don't even know if the deal will go through and can only speculate at this stage, I have a feeling we are going to use the cash to drill away in tendrara and find out if it holds more.
I've no idea why they updated the market when they did regarding the JV (unless they had to). I'd say most PI's were itching to find out a possible LE figure and see a conclusion to sound but we had been told year end for news, they could have spun it out for a few more weeks into the new year if need be. Surely it would have been better to finalise the deal, including due diligence before approaching the market. Many would have been disappointed with the lack of a LE but PI's would have had a negotiated deal and plenty of facts to chew over. By releasing news when they did with such little detail caused confusion, uncertainty and has taken a hammer to sentiment, not withstanding we are all sat in a state of limbo for several months. The CFO, CEO and Chairman all going in such a short space of time didn't help either.
Making friends are we Jizzy, at least you are not clogging up the SOU board with your bull. Advising people to take a profit whilst posting this morning that you are holding. So full of ****e it's untrue. Don't believe a word he posts people.
Sundance, that timeline could well work in our favour although would they get a small extension if required. From what I've read though the Algerians have had the Moroccan's over a barrel for years, with relations quite poor.
In the UK we would have 5 years of consultations, public enquires, appeals, court action etc another few years looking for a great crested newt or tadpole, a year or two for planning and compulsory purchases, then we would spend months cutting through the environmentalists chains only for a new government to be elected and the whole project being cancelled. It would be interesting to know how the internal politics will work towards a project like this......or not.
You keep talking about legal action and advice, what are you waiting for. Bleating on here isn't going to get you your money back. Pay and see a professional and take it from there.
Let us know how you get on...….
I was wondering about the pipeline and whether the end of 2021 was feasible for first gas or pie in the sky. If we do go down the JV route you would think they would want to start seeing a return asap.
I found a couple of much larger and complicated projects, the TAP and TANAP pipelines that have been recently constructed. I don't know much about the 120km route our pipeline will take up to the GME but I guess it will be relatively straight forward as far as these projects go. I guess the main problems will be regulatory and getting people/equipment in country. Once they start it should fly up......or along!

I took it to mean 50p's worth of gas over the lifetime of gas production with royalties the upfront cash payments, not a share price of 50p, I could e wrong but malcy was rambling on. He didn't mention our debt, that we could be using the cash to further explore or our current dangled carrot, I mean possible farm out of sidi.

I'm in the same boat, get the pipeline built and infrastructure and hopefully in the meantime go again. The bulk of my investment has gone on the belief tendrara holds commercial gas. Next time around we will only need a spur to the main line, albeit with a smaller percentage of the riches, it will still be very lucrative though if we had another discovery.
