If and when the share price goes up considerably, my plan is to sell enough every year to within the capital gain tax allowance, if out of the isa or sipp.
But if we are taken over and get a cash payment, do we pay tax on the total gain (minus allowance) ?
Do we still pay tax if we re invest within the account? Thanks.
T. Rowe increased its holding, every little helps! :)

Well done Ron, I just broke even with SEE, not as heavy as you but considerably invested too, soon to be very well rewarded .
Hi, I invested about 4 years ago, bought at around 35p and sold few months later at 26p so unsure if trying again. Still believe in the tech and considering investing again, any long termers on here? Would appreciate your opinion on what's different now, having the s.p. gone down to 13p since then. Thanks.
AVO is PLEASED to announce yet another dilution, Bull**** !
WE are not PLEASED!
Award winning? Andrew Hore.

Cut and pasted!
Waw! 50 plus posts, I thought I was on yesterday page!
Thanks Seeing but I think you are not being totally honest.....I know that you know how to cut and paste because a couple of years ago you told me how to do it! :)))
Great to be reminded on what we are sitting on, and I have a feeling that we still might make it to vindicate your name and vision before end 2020, for a start!

(Sharecast News) - Plans for cars to drive themselves on UK motorways as soon as 2021 are unlikely to go ahead after insurers warned government proposals were risking lives and "hugely wrong". Cars with the technology to keep in lane, accelerate and brake automatically will be on the road next year, and ministers had proposed that drivers could relinquish control to their vehicles at speeds of up to 70mph on motorways. - Guardian
Question. How does SEE make money on this? Via a chip similar to dms, by selling a kit similar to Guardian or by licensing? Or a combination?
Also, if I understand the figures, does SEE get paid $125K per installation? Not complaining but It seems a very high figure to me.
Any company that can increase sales during this very challenging time, it's a rarity and while I don't like this classic response, it is a good buying opportunity for the medium term, the share price should not be down today!

Interesting, not sure if it relates to SEE much but nevertheless Interesting and somewhat far ahead.
Following the Company's successful partnership efforts to date, the Board of Advanced Oncotherapy expect that further commercial collaborations and purchase orders will be signed in 2021 given the Company's strong pipeline of global opportunities.
· Recent expansion of the Company's partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, which will now be able to refer cancer patients from its London facility to Advanced Oncotherapy's London Clinic site in Harley Street, is expected to result in more patients being treated at the London Clinic site, from which the Company would receive a share of the profits.
Nicolas Serandour, CEO of Advanced Oncotherapy, said:
"At today's presentation, we will reaffirm our view from the interim results that, although there have been headwinds caused as a result of Covid-19 pandemic during 2020, the Company has made strong progress and now has all the key high-precision components of the accelerator in place at Daresbury. 2021 is set to be an exciting year for the Company as we expect to have a fully operational LIGHT system with a 230MeV beam, which is the beam energy needed to treat patients. We also expect to sign further commercial agreements for new machines as we progress our robust pipeline of opportunities."
