Episode - Are children the biggest COVID-19 spreaders?
Good listen for those that are interested.
Interesting the chap interviewed from university of Padur stated they are currently running 5k (25min 30secs in) per RT-PCR tests per day (presume due to capacity constraints rather than demand and making presumption non automated).
- GDR can produce 10k per hour (clearly could be more in future).
- If we use same 5K per day figure, and apply to solely India (non-automated method)
- DIVOC planning on 20 labs up and running by year end.
- India non-automated = 5k x 20 labs = 100k tests per day
- GDR Rev @£9 per test (may be less) = £900k rev per day / £328.50m rev per year / £197m profit per year @ 60% margin
Above is only India non-automated - not accounting for any US or Africa.
Even if above is overstating India based on number of labs (and or price per test & margin slight variable), you would think factoring in automation and US/Africa could feasibly yield those stats.
That’s ignoring all other products / sales coming to fruition in Autumn.
£1.08 - 61 mcap, seems a tad cheap don’t you think??”
Clearly we’re now at 129p....but still holds true!
