George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
IMO it will happen by the end of this month, as stated, having crossed the i's and signed-up now the budget is out of the way. That said, AIM is always a blimmin' lottery and needs to be much better regulated, again imo.
"Baz ... there may be something to cheer us up in the results presentation".
Why should there be, any more than there was in the previous "jam tomorrow" snake-oil offerings? At least we had our Samsung hopes to hang onto at that point.
I'm still with Dick in his suggestion that the other parties may well be waiting to check there are no further govt nasties contained in the budget before signing anything. That makes sense to me but this is still a punt for me.
"Dick I’ve seen your type on almost every AIM share".
JB, that's a bit rich coming from you, especially bearing in mind your constant attempts to undermine a share which you profess to have no interest in? If ever there was a "type".
"So what has this got to do with Avacta?"
Nothing, other than the fact that he's featured in so many posts on here previously and the story's an interesting one, imo......Apologies. Rest assured, I'll get back to bashing him in future.
......go down well here but credit where it's due, and writing as someone who's regularly bashed the guy on here, anyone who took TW's advice at the start of the year has alot to thank him for. Nothing to do with this board, I know, but see Wandisco's if you haven't already. Just thought others here might be interested.
.......if I was part of the dealmaking discussions - but someone without any shares to date - then I might be tempted to "keep talking" until such time as I could pick some up at a reasonable price.....which we must be pretty close to now. Too conspiratorial?
Even as a football fan, am I or much of the rest of the country really interested in Bristol City v Man City or Man Utd v West Ham in some FA Cup last 16 match on the main ITV channel, especially when Premiership players are being done to death throughout the rest of the year's home and international games throughout the rest of the year. It's not like the outcome wasn't / isn't a given in these cases. All it does is irk the majority prime soap fans because their programmes are pushed aside. Make ITV 4 the sports channel and stick it on there, as per the racing, rather than just peeing people off.
I might be talking Bollx here but I was just reading a recent RNS from Serica on 20th December in which they announced their intended purchase of Tailwind Energy. A quote from a recent report (The Times 8 Feb) stated, "It is hopeful that its takeover of Tailwind Energy can be finalised by the end of March once regulatory approvals and financial details are completed." In other words, all deals take time (F/Os included), they don't just involve the two parties and our quest for "more haste" might therefore be deemed premature?
