Volumes support war/coal trade thesis. On March 26th at Iran conflict peak GCM saw a 6M share buy spike as speculators bet on coal amid LNG/oil chaos. Wednesday ceasefire triggering unwind culminating in a 7M puke yesterday. This could be the opportunistic buy set up. Let's see what happens.

Possibly an energy shock/coal spike trade unwind. Speculators crammed in and puked out on ceasefire, not really understanding or particularly interested in the story here and leaving a cheap op in its wake. All done. Onwards.

By greenlighting feasibility studies for Khalashpir, the government has effectively taken it out of contention for the next 2–3 years. Whether deliberate strategy or not, this clears the path for Phulbari, the only shovel ready project, to step in as the practical solution to Bangladesh’s urgent energy crisis. Bullish.

Completely agree, there’s more than enough room in the Phulbari pie for the Polo conversion. Once Tang restores Polo and converts to 30%, it perfectly aligns his interests with ours. Having the CEO with a massive stake is exactly what we want. He’ll be extremely motivated to drive this all the way to success for himself and for all of us. Nice setup.

This is a very, very bullish environment for GCM.

Phulbari continues to be deliberately and gradually reintroduced into public and policy consciousness through credible expert voices. Very nice indeed.

Phulbari has a massive head start regarding opm, not to mention mega size and quality and it's all ready to go bar the gl. Bara opm feasibility would take years to get to Phulbari's current state of readiness and is tiny and awkward and low grade in comparison. Ofc Phulbari is a delicate subject for some so it might be better to give it another name for now like...Bara South.

Mine mouth power numbers being discussed are 5,000 MW continuous for 25 years from Phulbari coal, scaling up by 7K to 12,000MW...blimey.
