Yes in his post on 21st August Tbilisi stated that “ From my people on the ground I have been told it is moving to Sartachela! ” whereas we know from the last RNS that the well was drilled in the Patardzeuli oil field which is many miles to the East of Sartachela. Well done for calling the scoundrel out Groningen.

FWIW when I spoke to the brokers Peter Krens was in a meeting so I spoke with his right hand man, who informed me that they had become aware of the false market about an hour before I called and brought it to the company’s attention. Both the Nomad and the PR people were unavailable as I was informed that they were in meetings, but if they were in the same meeting a RNS to clarify the position could be being drafted as I type.

OK. I’ve taken the bull by the horns and tried to get hold of the Nomad only to be informed that he was in a meeting, so I tried Cellcourt Communications with the same result. In desperation I phoned the broker who informed me that a submersible pump was installed only 48 hours ago and well results will not be available for at least a week, so a false market has been created here.

How recent is your information Tbilisi 97? As Tony Fawcett has said the water needs to have been extracted before any oil could flow.

And there’s also no good reason to sell….but the market certainly needs to be updated as to what’s going on here.

Anyone else noticed that both Sarah and her Advfn alter ego of Fizzmiss have disappeared? She seems to have been replaced by Lyreco on Advfn who seems to be on a higher pay grade, the profile having been created as recently as 21st October. Both working for II’s who are looking to reduce their cost average by shaking out weaker PI’s imho.

Looking at the volume traded today and yesterday and it seems like the vast majority of the placing stock has already been sold, with the remainder in the sticky hands of Directors. Plenty of news on the horizon to drive this back up so I am a buyer at these levels.

I couldn’t go the AGM this year but I’ve had a very brief update from someone who did and the thing he was most bullish about was CB’s positivity that Afrimat would complete the balance of the Glenover deal by the deadline. That would put the company in an incredible cash position for an explorer and maybe enough to fund an open pit operation, or will it be drill baby drill and let the bigger fish come sniffing?

Surely a tiddler like BLOE getting institutional investment just ahead of operational news is positive news in itself. It suggests to me that even if the latest well is not a gusher that they have faith in the company’s strategy and it securing non dilutive funding. Frankly I’m amazed that the penny hasn’t dropped with PI’s and encouraged more buy in.

Even 150 bbls/day on a choked down well should be enough to secure the non dilutive financing for a more extensive campaign given the low cost of these wells imo. Anything more than that = some boomage imho.

To my mind this confirms that the two state agencies are going to throw their weight behind the monetisation of the deep gas which is known to be in the block purchased from Schlumberger. That might be where the non dilutive funding is going to come from imo.

If the well was a duster insiders would have been selling down today but I’m surprised that 500k buy hasn’t inspired more buying. Maybe we will see some nice late reported trades after the close.
