typically its a quiet time of year, no major events or holidays. I wouldn't expect sales to be great in Q2 but then there will be uplift from Q3 with Christmas. So I suspect it won't be till Jan 21 that there will be huge rises in the SP.
So really its about them getting through the next few months, HO are making redundancies wonder if this will be mentioned in the strategy update.
My mums store isn't as busy but it isn't really this time of year, I think the partnerships are a good idea hopefully they're profitable.
The smaller FTSE 250 index, which contains many UK-focused firms, has slumped by 1.8% in early trading.
Companies who suffer badly from Covid-19 lockdowns are among the top fallers. Travel ticket site Trainline has shed 9%, with cinema group Cineworld down 8% and cruise operator Carnival losing 7.9%.
My mother works at a card factory store and I used to work at their head office at J41. I bought last week 7000 at 40p then sold at 52p I think If they stay with a 4 I am going to buy in again. Reason is:
I think the share price is going to go up to 60/70p soon up across the board for all retail, I strongly think the 2 meter rule is going to be canned to either 1m or 1.5m to start. A lot of CARD stores are small, unless they're in retail parks or shopping centres. so reduction in social distancing makes sense.
Card factory also has shops in small suburbs not just in large cities so they're not just reliant on footfall.
I don't think it will ever get to where it was (400p) when I left but it makes a lot of cash.
Also, we dont know the state of Clintons or Hallmark after all this, will they collapse? Possibly Clintons has been close to the wire a number of times.

I'm not sure if he still is, but he was one of the directors he owned studio 41 before it was taken over by CF and turned into their in house design studio.
Looking at a traffic checker it looks like it gets 1 million views a month up from 500,000 in December with an average duration of 4 minutes, I don't know what the average basket would be online? It's certainly not going to be a quid. Anything from £5 to £10 I would say.
