The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I very much doubt there are many shareholders here, who have paid less than 0.4p, maybe a few wishful thinkers still investing hoping to recover big losses but you can see that any large sale gets badly knocked back.
It's a lost cause folks.
To be honest I thought JP was a pretty decent bloke, at the AGM's in London. Those around him didn't produce the quality / mining knowledge needed. Fortunes might change but lots of investment now needed. From whom I dont know.
Dv yes a tongue in cheek comment! My point in selling up was purely to prevent losing even more and quite likely never recovering . Have to make a judgement at some stage don't you agree? These mining outfits are notorious for eventual collapse , so many have.
I'm not a seasoned " invester" like some of you on here and I find it bizarre that someone should trade for £4.12?
So what's good to see about this trade?
I left this share behind and sold at 1.1p having lost enough even at that price. That was a long time ago, thankfully I'm free of the stress here. Still watch this forum though.
I thought there had been plenty of drilling going on, in fact some very deep holes have been cut for the Lithium brine,
Sml have also done multi drillings a while back but they don't have funds to move on and dig ore.
Flooding may well be serious problem for these companies. But Seizmic RNS Bubble, is a bit excitable!
By all accounts Cornwall is blessed with numerous high value metals, Lithium, Tin, Tungsten & Copper and probably more.
Trouble is very little of it seems to get above ground and processed. Several decent companies operating down that way but largely exploration activities as I see it.
Don't have an answer for why? Short of funding.
I wish you were right making 25% profit I might be able to recover some of my1.8p shares . Lured into buying their share placings only to se the price drop each time, 4 times!
Good luck but don't hold your breath.
