Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Funds will unload and load at various stages for a whole load of reasons. Just the nature of the beast. Very much doubt they are privy to news in advance of everybody else. These are good times to take advantage IMO dyor GL
Opportunity to add more, excellent!
Anything changed - No

BLOE is having a bit of a sell off so perhaps a lot of focus there.
Let’s hope we can push back to 3p soon, not sure why folks want to exit so close to the start of the campaign? I get the risks and each to their own ... GL all
My small investment is not based on a single word TM has spouted. I have taken a gamble on a partner setting up another P3 trial with a biological endpoint. This drug may work for a subset of sufferers albeit a smaller market but I think 8-10p is a strong support. GL
Time to add now, I welcome this ... everyone has their strategy and if sellers want out that’s fine, it creates the floor for the next leg up.
Quite a bit of news on flow rates, gas deal etc to come before spud of
Well 16, which could be Aug-Sept.
will add like mad if we go to 11 or below.
All going well with the next 2 wells could see us at 30p plus. Of course that is assuming they are successful dyor GL
Good news and onwards with getting this well investigated. GL all over the next month as news arrives...
Yes possible results for stage 1 of c37 drill by month end. Big fingers crossed!
Agree that’s the positive thing!
Cheers for the production numbers, maybe they were both drilled in 86 or there is an error somewhere! I guess more info will emerge once C37 is drilled.
I do notice AC states different numbers, in several presentations drill depths, production numbers etc seem to be rough numbers lol.
Fingers crossed
Ok thanks for that! Interesting as that’s the same as c22 as per page 10 of presentation.
Historical well data indicates that an adjacent well, C-22, achieved an initial production rate of 700 barrels per day from the Middle Eocene formation when drilled in 1986
Sea7, I believe that was adjacent well c22 producing 700bpd in86. They are hoping C37 is an analogue to that well.
Yes we shall see. As you say thIs is a big field with at least 31mol barrels in place, probably more. Hopefully C37 hits the mark. We have 2 possibilities on this drill which improves the odds, It will produce something just a case of how much. I’m positive but as you say always prepared for the alternative. At least we then have another 2 drills scheduled. Definitely a decent punt. Not long now I think before we start initial deepening!!!
So first stage of C37 is an easy drill further down into the middle Eocene, not sure on the depth but from slides and presentations it sounds like 15-50 metres to hit the suspected new structure which is 3sq km with 100m thickness. Flow test this and track down a further 200-250m into the upper Cretaceous to test a potential structure there.
Previous flow rate of C37 was ~5bpd in the mid Eocene so this small extension will hopefully strike a nice result. If the deep extension also strikes then this is looking very nice.
Not much is mentioned about c30, from the diagram this well also looks like it could be extended first by a few metres into the mid Eocene. anyone know it’s previous producing rate and is it also due for a small extension as well as the further deepening?
Info above is in the 2019 presentation.
GL all
Nolupus, lol load up your bets. Anyone backing the outsider at 100/1!! :)
You are right, IMM will not pay for another trial, TM made that clear. We need a backer and talks are in progress .. honestly it literally is a punt. Btw are you invested? GL
I hope you can claw back your situation from here and sounds like you have worked Bloe nicely. My gut feel is this will recover.
I know what you mean, I tend to listen to the negative posts/questions with more interest than the positive ones but they do get branded as dreamers/trolls etc. If you don’t post anymore best of luck. All the best
Haha I just spotted my stake steak typo below.... ??
Ezhik, lol I actually like steak well done despite the silly username.
Actually I should be more respectful to those that got caught up in ANGS. I was considering buying there a while back so feel lucky. I think it might be worth a go as it could back up to 3-4p quite easily with a few bits of good news.
Are you out of Bloe to be here or just waiting for a better re-entry?
GL too hope we do ok here
*bit of fun ... bl**dy auto correct
Hi AJamesW,
Looks like we are both LTH of Zen and Bloe. I have no problems with AC, in fact as mentioned before he has skin in the game so that’s a big plus. We are cutting it a bit fine though time wise but that’s not a real issue knowing what’s ahead.
I always try to keep a reserve of caution on any junior oilers but I think these are very good bets and long term holds. Might take a tiny tiny steak in ANGS next week. Recovery likely in the next 6months. But if fun. Gl
Good point and of course logistics will be key, I.e. how many tanker journeys can they squeeze into a day and how, under stable continuous conditions, hard can they flow the well. I just am cautious about what is achievable (currently) with the logistical arrangements vs what the market expects. Probably will be a work in progress, with a step up in production towards year end.
Nice problem to have of course. GL
