Just looking in here again to see what a great job James Parsons is doing...everything he touches turns to dust while he profits handsomely along the way!!

Everywhere James Parsons goes he leaves a trail of desdestruction behind him while profiting handsomely! That should speak volumes!!

Does any company that James Parsons is associated with do any good?? Everything the man touches turns to dust!!

A proven track record in driving companies into the ground & profiting handsomely along the way!!

Amazes me that this dodgy business goes on right under the noses of organisations such as the LSE Forum!!! But nobody investigates it because it's not in their interests to!!!

Just been having another look around the haunts of Mr Parsons & his other dodgy appointments...

Echo Energy remain suspended until at least end of August as they cannot produce accounts!! Unbelievable when one considers that virtually the whole BOD are Accountants!

AST'S previous friends Align Research (who also appear to be living in cloud cuckoo land!) had stopped promoting Corcel Energy until the previous Management were replaced due to lack of progress and salaries. They appear to be supporting Corcel now but don't appear to have been associated with AST for some months.

While AST's over inflated Board have been sitting back in their part time roles is there any chance the long suffering investors could have an update on:

Ongoing disputes with partners.

Update from January RNS where it was claimed repairs to wells were being carried out including removal of the historical stuck tool to increase flow rates.

Update on the 2 year old prominent strategic entry into Metals that to this day has produced nothing.

A percentage return comparison on the company's income against expenditure

Really Mr Parsons & Mr Dennan we'd even be interest in finding out where you have booked your holidays and what you actually do during your working week!!

Shares consolidated by 100:1 and still the majority of investors are at least 80% down.

I wonder when LSE w8ll next host a staged managed interview with these guys for an update - will take all of 30 seconds!

The dismay I have for this market sector grows stronger every day. How the Authorities continue to turn a self interested blind eye to it all is beyond me!!!

I am sure sentiment would return overnight if Parsons & Dennan would please move on!

I've contacted the company directly this evening to voice my dismay at the unusual trading activity today followed by their after hours RNS. I suggest others do the same!!

Predictive text...SML Board! We know who we're talking about!!

The current AM I Board have no credibility among shareholders so what chance do they have in attracting potential investors to this current scenario!!

Would be interesting how they would word the last 3 years activities in their CV's!!

AIM continues to reward underachievers!!!

What I would add to my original post....I sincerely hope that the LSE Network review their legal obligations towards the individuals & companies that they support throughout this network as well as the comments that they are happy to publicise.. If they wish to argue then let them look at the activities of today as well as the histories of some of the individuals they allow to speak through this network.

It puzzles me now the LSE network actually encourages and turns a blind eye to the activities of today?? Throughout AIM there are Directors earning ridiculous salaries & conducting in my opinion fabricated interviews supported by this network. There is a common pattern of underperformance, lack of foresight & judgement as well as shady (to put it mildly) fundraising which continually penalises long term investors. This is portrayed as a financial investment which it clearly isn't as the regulations are loose (again to put it mildly!). When will the Authorities and in particular the FCA grow some & investigate & punish . The same characters appear throughout this sector & in years gone but they would've been called outlaws!!

The whole AIM sector needs a thorough review & the book should be thrown at those misleading & fabricating to suit themselves. The LSE network continues to support!

Wonder if the LSE Executives who administer this forum would be willing to comment on the activities of today by this company alone!!!

For all the bullxxxt of James Parsons being a skilled financier....let's see what he gets out of this situation for 'genuine LTH's!!!'. I doubt anything. The sooner this individual ( & M Mr Dennan) are out of the way the better!!! They have done absolutely nothing for the company since they came on board! And Echo Energy/ Sound Energy/ Corcel Energy...

AIM seems to encourage leadership with no credibility whatsoever. The only drain on the finances are the Accountants in charge running things to suit themselves!

I also question LSE as an organisation as they seem to turn a blind eye also. I hope nobody else makes the mistake of trusting anything that comes out of their mouths!

One day this sham will be investigated!

Yep! Absolutely an opportunity for the long term holders to wait another 12 months while the jokers at the top milk their salaries for another 12 months!!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought AST 's primary focus was now on their laughable Metals strategy in South America?? 2 years in & still nothing tangible to report!

Btw I'm still keeping my eye on Person's progress at Echo, Corcel etc - everywhere the man goes he draws a handsome salary while leaving an absolute trail of destruction behind!!

As a long term holder for more than 5 years like us all getting very frustrated with the lack of progress here...before new investors get sucked in by the hype. I've researched interviews going back to 2018 with John Peters on Proactive Investors. Full of optimism about the future, Peter Whale value to the company etc etc you'll all know the rest!

If this wasn't AIM all of these experts would've been sacked due to poor judgement, poor foresight& quite frankly bulls**t on the actual facts.

I read of an investor who's £60k investment is now worth £6k!!! Not their fault they're obviously listening to the BOD's wise words of optimism.

To the BOD if I performed like this in my business I would've been dropped years ago!!!

Either up your game or move on!!! Not one of you have a shred of credibility! If you wish to argue then look at share price performance - the only people that influence that are you!!!

My fear with this is a complete lack of trust in the BOD. What will they do with any potential payout? I have little faith in Shareholders seeing any benefit.

After all this is a BOD who overnight can consolidate shares by 100:1.. Also say there is no need for finance & then announce a placing. All they need to do is announce that they intend to invest any layout in the long running Cuba/Peru operation and that is the last anyone will see if it. For a high focus strategy investors haven't seen anything tangible since they announced it 2 years ago?!

In my opinion characters like James Parsons know all of the ins, outs & short cuts to act just within the AIM guidelines. I wouldn't want him within a million miles of any potential payout!!

Dennan & Co please move on & recruit a BOD on a realistic 1/2 the amount budget who actually want to achieve measurable results in the near future instead of endlessly spinning everything out to suit themselves!!

Don't give any credit to the BOD. They've done nothing since they've been with AST - just hanging on in the hope of a payday! This sp will rise the day Dennan & Parsons deoart. What a disgrace they are!!!

Just looking in here to see what Mr Parsons is up to other than his part time role at Ascent Resources. Pretty consistent feedback after reading just a few posts. As a long term holder of Ascent I really feel your pain guys!. Hopefully he will move on and you'll get somebody in who genuinely wants investors to get a return on their investment!!

There seems to be a recurrent theme everywhere the man goes. A few other snippets of non achievement to add to his vast Portfolio!!!

Echo Energy - share trading currently suspended, Results delayed, one poster has demanded a response today as he suspects a scam and is going to report to FCA.

Corcel PLC Just today release an RNS announcing James Parsons stepping down as CEO of Corcel Plc after one month in the role.

Coro Energy - investors still waiting for news that they felt should've been reported weeks ago

As a share holder of more than 5 years I have learned that virtually everything that is said by this BOD never materialises. I've listened to interviews, read RNS's but the share price continues to fall. That is a direct link to the activity of the leadership.

Little point spending money attending an AGM when all that is discussed has no impact snyway!!

It's not just SML...the pattern is the same throughout aim.

Look at any of the BOD profiles.... Speaks volumes!

Let's face it. AIM is rigged in my opinion. LSE(this website) & the other authorities continue to turn a blind eye. This is just a finance option for most companies.

If someone had the balls to post a league table on the return on investment then this site would close overnight & all of the creepy characters that operate would scurry away to to where they came from!

If you need any proof contact them via LinkedIn! I have...they have no answers!!!
