The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Mr India is having to battle with the compelling investment case of HEMO, particularly at this SP, and needing cash for other matters.
Junior pharma investment is tricky in the sense that you have to have conviction in the company and trust you will end up in the right place over time. Yet you still want to see short term positivity too.
There is no doubt that the big money is made on successful candidates which take time.
Eli say it takes on average 10 years from target to launch. I reckob we are miles ahead of that curve, especially with CAR T which has overtaken the previous primary candidate CDX.
Just to spice things up a bit CBR seems to have the sexy little profile that might draw sizeable investment pre-clinical.
Keep your investment time horizon realistic and the worlds your oyster. Demanding short term turnaround are very unlikely in any circumstances particular pre-clinical and even more so in a bear market.
I hold, try buy a few more when I can, and look forward to future updates. However long it takes!
Everyone knows this already. We are all down. You are bitter?
Do you see the end game? Do you think they will never get there?
COVID really did make things difficult imo. The CLNs were an absolute mess in my view and smashed the SP for investors. The delays have been painful.
But this is junior pharma. HEMO have worked on a shoe string budget. Cashflow is always a constant issue. Delays are inevitable.
But I believe Vlad will make this work. He will make a success of HEMO and produce a successful drug and/or (hopefully and) drug production platform that will be in demand by big pharma and the like.
So whilst slipping timescales are irritating, I am happy to wait. I see progress being made. I see our USP. CBR/HEMO CAR T/CDX are game changers for me. They just have to keep moving things forward to rerate the SP.
I accept it will take as long as it takes. Naively or otherwise. I shall remain patient and confident.
HT, do any of your questions effect whether you buy, hold, or sell stock?
Your whining on LSE smacks of self-doubt in your research.
It comes down to the likelihood of Vlad making something work or not. May of us have made our calls on this. You clearly dont trust Vlad. Id just walk away if I was you, speculating is not for you.
So you can make assumptions on what the Board will and wont have done but no one else can?
Thats how it is!
Why would yo already expect EVE to have run certain scenarios and spreadsheets on cutting costs and seeking profitability over the short term? Do you have any evidence?
Every communication they have issued and it continues up until now is that it is their intention to continue to grow and expand the business. There is nothing that says they seek to go profitable and simply maintain or reduce their turnover with a smaller team. While tout for further investment they wont be looking at cost cutting. However, if the dont get any additional financial input you would think they may start considering how profitability could be hit short term by reducing further costs potentially.
I have a few EVE shares and keep tabs on this chat from time to time.
I cant believe Vlad hasnt made us all millionaires already. We would be now if he'd have done everything when he said. He's useless. Apart from designing all the science. The things we hope will work and be worth billions. Lol.
No other Pharma companies ever have delays. Designing drugs that cure cancer is such a quick and easy job.
All those companies out there who churn out drugs that work every year worth billions zzz
Designing Bio Defense mechanisms to fight viruses known and unknown. All that stuff is so easy too.
Dont even know why Im invested in HEMO. They've got nothing that works and they're taking too long at everything.
August 11th last year haha
When HEMO was targeting trials in Q2.
Pretty sure that’s not the case any more. Things do change. Unlike the quality of your posts ha
Go enjoy the weather and spend time with any friends and family you might have rather than trawling through my messages. A much better use of your time.
Sad little chap.
Nope. No price/timing predictions from me thanks.
It’ll be a lot bigger when the drugs are proved to work though ;-)
Solid buy signal from Pumpky too
If he says he’s waiting for the SP to go down more to buy then it likely won’t drop below todays bottom.
I got a few more at 1.25p. Yummy.
The only grating thing here is timescales (and a lot of the posting on this board).
It will get done when its done. CAR T is the epic leading light that will transform HEMO once it hits trials. In the sequence of events in a sort of time line analysis it has to get into trial before things like non-dilutive funding can be discussed to support progress, one thing that Mgmt have mentioned as being a significant target before.
They cant raise at this SP, too low. Need a stimulant before further cash is raised for CDX and CBR (event partnering up on CBR with a possible equity stake is not viable til the SP is higher)
I've always said HEMO will make investors rich. I said for over a year I have got the timescales involved drastically wrong.
Those who can sit back and wait will have the last laugh. I can only assume those who come on to this Board to voice their distaste are simply under the pump financially and need the cash as the investment case here is overwhelmingly positive in my view.
Enjoy the Sun!
Indeed. Im pretty sure his personal circumstances dictate an unhealthy demand for more and constant news flow from HEMO to drive an immediate price rise. He has picked the wrong industry to invest in if he wants weekly news and rapid delivery of products.
I honestly wish you well Mr India but your posts are nonsense. HEMO will deliver if you hold long enough for them to get done what they need to get done. Life saving science takes a long time. Cancer cures etc. Eli quote 10 years from discovery to launch. Oncology studies and testing are epic. Your naiveness to all this is hard work for all readers on this board.
The speed HEMO have got CAR T to where it is as well as on the tiny budget are both incredible. Vlad does NOT get enough recognition still. But the SP is the main focus for the shorter term holder. So they bipass achievements and batter the CEO. Yes the website needs updating but I dont share the mirth as its just not significant in my view. Focus on the science and trials for me. Everything else will follow. We have never had the budget for the nice to have marketing stuff. We are producing world class novel drugs, cancer cures, virus treatments, while saving lots of money on expenses - including marketing.
Mr India I hope your personal circumstances aren't too difficult that you cant hold on to what you have got for as long as it needs.
HEMO will make all holders rich.
Enjoy your weekend.
He didnt say it would be submitted by the end of May. He said the PIND meeting would be concluded by the end of May.
Which it has been remotely. And there are workflows that need concluding including manufacturing to complete the IND. Which was always going to be the case and pharma investors know this. We are going to produce our own drugs which will save lots of cash! Amazing I hear you say. But it will take time to prove that the new lab can deliver. Read up on INDs.
When you have a grasp of how pharma works you'll have a reasonable idea about all this stuff.
The folk buying to hold for a year are laughing. The folk wanting news every other day laugh a lot less. But the daily grapple for news is real - as is the know it all sniping - very lol. But each to their own. Broaden your horizons people!
Have a great long bank holiday weekend everyone and enjoy the jubilee.
