Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Just spoken about this subject with Graham after the presentation, he is mindful to clarify this with John Meyer when we can look forward to an update from John shortly!.
PC
Well…….only a few minutes left for a flash of news!!
Let’s just hope tomorrow IS a new beginning!
We don’t ask for much!
Perhaps now a change of image to boot!
Give us a resolution to Togo or at least a sign !
More images of our DC success, along with details of future pipeline opportunities!
Here’s hoping!
See you there!
PC
I think a result……….one way or tuther………on Togo will be the only news to give this a real boost, not holding my breath, for a definitive on this coming Tuesday!
Sad news indeed…..rest in peace EiiR !
PC
Cannot see us being able to move 61,000 (25lb handy bags) per month!
More than likely it’s a 80-20 split in favour of the metric ton quantity, that makes up the 700!
Still will hopefully find out more next Tuesday!
PC
Battery Storage discussed today in Parliament under the ten minute rule bill!
Lithium-ion not coming out too well on thermal runaway!
Shame the Redox process not being an option within the statement!
At least the bill has passed!
To be discussed in parliament next march!
PC
New “Logo” background ?
PC
Great news…….. as we all predicted………. hoped!
The product is in the right place at the right time!
Now…….get the long term customers on board and look after them….. serve them well and make good money at the same time!
PC
It’s going to be really interesting to see how well we have done, with cost of sales and the actual sales!
If anyone wants to double check my figures please feel free!
Now if we could “sell” the 6k as alluded to in the august rns, then assume our production costs are in line with the Shard prediction of $168/t for year two!
Add on 20% sales price uplift due to ongoing situation so, $312/t this will give us a profit of £750k!
Not huge in the scheme of things but not bad for a start!
PC
I can almost feel JimBl’s thoughts on this subject at boiling point, ready to be released to the forum!
PC
Thinking aloud……..if we are hoping for an influx of new investors, to miraculously appear at the presentation in London, where do they get the necessary info to even make the decision to attend?
Existing holders will be going to question the status quo and hope for the future!
But haven’t seen any recent media or news event from Keras that would even entice the most positive investor to take the trip, in this current environment?
PC
Tricky……… Rip, generalising on that set of figures, as many been here for years, with a very varied cost base!
However, correct in reporting our success with Calidus ( 1 Cai for each 3.45 Keras held) !
Next…….. split for Cai into a Lithium play!
PC
Me thinks….. we are getting a little ahead of ourselves here!
The meeting can be viewed live, the presentation itself, will be released “before” being presented, so nothing that could be construed as newsworthy can be in it!
The only other issue of note within the presentation!
“It will also provide an overview of plans for the business going forward.”
(overview of plans)
Not being negative, but realistic, after all these years of waiting, we should possibly tone down our expectations!
PC
Ok……. just for a bit of fun while we await progress!
“Our corporate finance and ECM teams advise on public and private equity and debt finance for natural resources companies and investors, as well as M&A and strategic investments and disposals.
Memery Crystal also has the pre-eminent natural resources litigation team. The team has been involved in some of the highest-profile disputes cases within this sector in the last 10 years, winning “Litigation Team of the Year” and “Disputes Team of the Year” in 2014.”
PC
Should we be reading anything in the location of the presentation meeting?
Perhaps……………these are our new advisors, to get this moving again?

Hi Prop
Nice article but………….!
Just found this interesting interview with Joe Lowry discussing the Lithium space and the impact on mining in the future!.
Demand for EV’s ( if you can get one cheap enough!) will outpace the supply of suitable materials!
Lots to get into, but one point he made about the timescales for mining, had me thinking out aloud, basing a greenfield Lithium project, taking up to ten years to be producing?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xkR-Y3NVdZg
Looking forward to the next few months with so many irons in the fire for Calidus and hopefully news on the Keras front!
PC
I think we could do with an update………….but not, if it’s the latest rail union’s September strike dates!
PC
To be fair, not read the entire document, just skimmed through!
But this hits the spot, if we were to get movement within Togo!
“We will engage with key countries bilaterally on critical minerals, to promote joint working towards solutions to global issues in critical mineral value chains.”
* “Engage emerging producer countries (including those in the network of Commonwealth countries) to support development priorities, engage them in regulatory diplomacy, help develop resources in a way that works for communities and our natural environment, and create opportunities for responsible UK companies and investors in those regions.”
Well…… at least we’ve made a start in this ongoing process!
Who knows what could transpire!
PC
Hey Chesh
That’s 15 mins for each!
Let’s see the reaction in the morning!
PC
Hey Chesh!
If the last meeting I attended is anything to go by, this could be done and dusted in 15 minutes!
It only extended due to us two shareholders having a series of questions for the members present!
I’m sure they will still want to delay the presentation, as it will be seen by the board that new investors are shown the future alongside existing long suffering shareholders!
Let’s hope it has at least some positive outlooks, as of late we are treading far too much water!
PC
So at this time, it’s safe to say, it’s a forgone conclusion that the consolidation question will be passed!
What’s not so clear is what comes next!
Now……. some shareholders will without thinking, trade the new share price ( wow my shares have gone up 100 x !) which may spark a reaction!
But if the presentation was set up to give the shares a good kick up the pants with positive news, then by the letter of the law, this should already have been communicated via the RNS( good or bad)!
So we can now assume the delayed presentation will be about what might happen to the business and our relationships with our strategic investors!
I’m remaining upbeat on this, even with so many issues unresolved, now just await the presentation from the company to reassure my ongoing investment is secure ( as any share can be!)
