what's your take in times of high inflationary costs then? I bought pre-pandemic in the illusion it'd perform comparably to 2018/2019 and while most of competitors have somewhat done better or recover post-pandemic, this has not, the opposite in fact. I can't find positive comments on this board for the last 3 years. It is a dog share.

Gosh guys, I admit my ignorance here, but after millions of posts (here and on other boards), I still don't understand how can AVIVA call this "return of capital to investors" :-( how can this possibly be seeing as "return of capital?!!"

why this drop today? doesn't make much sense after yesterday results. I went back in at 84ish with some profits just in case.

I have read tons of posts here and on other boards on this topic, can someone explain to me in layman terms how this falls under "return of capital to investors" ? the more I read about this the more it looks like a zero-sum game to me :-(

surely this is way oversold, fundamentals haven't changed or am I missing anything?

not a market expert here but why a downtrend during a buy back ?? zero danger to have hart attacks by owning this stock for sure :-(

Common pattern across several FSTE bigs, see HSBC, LLoyds, Aviva, BP and you name it, bumper results and no real SP movement.. sigh
Sometimes I wonder if that Porsche chap who is spamming boards is right about buggering off UK plc and start investing in US growth :-( I made more profits with Bitcoin this year than UK stocks ffs
