Wyn. Your point is valid. It looks like there will be a push for a national mass test that'll likely last for (hopefully) only a matter weeks followed by targeted very regular testing to get on top of outbreaks where they occur.
There are massive sectors that are going to carry on testing for many years, travel being the obvious one, but hospitals is another - what is one of the first things they do when you're about to be admitted? They test you for MRSA. Soon they'll also be testing for Covid-19, too.
Saint Al has said that he sees an initial massive market followed by a longer term need that will be admittedly smaller, but there will be a need for years.
I have only had what I would describe as excellent service from IG. They phoned me up on day 1 to welcome me and the nice chap I spoke to spent about 20 minutes on the phone to me answering my initial questions and follow up email answered remaining Qs. I spent a while clicking away one morning trying to open a spread bet and I occasionally could partially fill a bet. They phoned me up to see what problems I was having and sorted it for me in minutes.
Wilson: it takes about four weeks to cook up a new fangled Affimer to match a new variant.
It has been said that the LFT has been designed in such a way so that in the event of a new Affimer is needed it is dead easy to whip the old ones off the nitrocellulose strip and attach the new version. I think they use Velcro.

3 + 122 = 124
Gives a heap of confidence.
It will mean yet another U-turn from the nice tender people who want AN first. Saliva based tests are at the bottom of their testing technique pile.
Also Vatic's sensitivity may be beaten by Avacta's mythical 'does it really exist?' test.
I'm not a happy puppy.
I had some of my CGT limit that could be used, so put in a market order to sell some if/when it hit 240. B4stard went through at 241. It now looks like I'm going to have to fill out a tax return form to explain my £16.71 of ill gotten gains.
I need to make a loss, quick sticks. What does we think? ODX or BRH?
It probably does matter whether it was a buy or a sell. If someone has bought all those shares, they're probably going to holding onto them for a while and hence there are less shares doing the rounds. If they have sold them to a bunch of PIs, they're less likely to hold them.
Or something unimportant.
