If funds are selling on rises to kill momentum while still accumulating, you'd have to add in the fact they are selling at open too to kill the spirit of PIs. Noticed that after the stuck in 29p range the next thing was equal buys or slightly more than sells (in waves) but always starting with say 20 sells at 8 am last week.

It might scare you but funds accumulating is absolutely what you want to see as a mine nears production. Nobody said it was easy.

So Creswick - JV is on pretty much if we want it to be with a major player (I instantly thought Newcrest but might be Newmont or whoever).

Bailieston - this is Craig's baby and looks like he wants to get a good resource going across the 7 or so targets (one of which already has 37,000 ounces just off shallow first drills). Sounds like he want's to take it all the way to production like he has with other resources elsewhere in his career, up to 5 million ounces, in the past.

Could be a double GGP, and if with 100% then a sextuple, if that's not rude. Probably the JV on one might make it a quadruple GGP in effect and we'll just have to make do and tighten our belts for the couple extra billion.

I think AC was mainly workign on WK and brought JN on. Recent appointments like Rawlinson and Suschev as advisers may have superseded AC to some degree. When Keith said he hadn't worked with them for a while officially it could be true yet he could still be retained and is still a big part of the picture, or they may have been too busy to update the website.

I don't think Montyboz is Rowka the style is different. Rowka wasn't very popular with other LTH anyway. He had lots of cut and paste but wasn't especially sharp or insightful. Just opened people's mind to the greater possibilities.

Possibly but talk is it was .98% and this is probably not like IG this is probably a serious wealth manager. My shares are held by Jarvis with the masses but I am beneficial owner. They don't do a TR-1 or 8.3 or whatever but might if an individual bought 27m I guess or ask them to. It's possible at VI they do some brokering, some wealth management, some advice and maybe even investing on their own behalf or high net worth individuals.

I don't know or think that Veles are Alexei's broker they might just be an ii that was accumulating anyway or expressed interest so was contacted by the MMs or brokers to take the cash call for Alexei's broker, in the idea it would cause less disunity in the market, perhaps.

But my bigger worry would be state intervention in this whole saga so the fact Russian instis bought and we did talks for the state at exhibitions etc again makes me think, hmmm, yes, might be some wheels getting greased here, but not that it's bad overall and it's all going to go off smoothly. Also overall it just confirms that instis are buying in at a certain level like we all thought with the strange trading patterns and tight price range even after the dfs release.

Balance sheets are a snapshot only. If they are a broker or insti they spend other people's money most will be held in stocks or ringfenced for clients they can't put other people's money on their own balance sheet I would have thought. But the more of their own cash they did put in as a percentage - the better that would seem. Unless you are doubting the RNS which has to be signed off by the NOMAD.

where is your evidence that the board knew? the signs are they didn't and possibly even Alexei didn't know it was his broker on a margin call?

If someone was masterminding a transfer to instis from PIs and getting frustrated I do think it could be orchestrated, but not to say it was. Much less still that it's a bad sign for those that held.

Do you mean Veles Capital or Veles International. VI describes itself as an investment company.

They didn't know about it and don't have to if it's a margin call it's Alexei's broker who has done it. He's probably a bit embarrassed and not forced to have known it was happening himself. The company can't force the details out but got a large chunk of detail very quickly.

If it's greased some wheels it's probably a net positive but an insti paying 29p in the Russian elite is generally very good news to me.

Alexei shares were probably a margin call by his broker as if had inside info wouldnt be allowed to sell.

But as a Russian insti bought them all as confirmed in RNS we are now in a better position because instis buying is a key part of final value push in in the typical life of a mine. And they are a part of the russian fabric too so even better.

PJ probably getting them earlier than expected but is adding acquisitions eg 3 this month. He's not got any debts hes paying.

It's a warrants model like he set up for ggp and ecr. Its self fulfilling but hes managing it well having been around for last super cycle hes already made timely buys and with a plan.
