Great for long suffering LTH's but boy do I feel sick today, I am literally cursed with this share based on how I bought in and sold out.

Fairly low SP and yet still no directors buys. Not a single share purchase announced. That’s the clearest sign of confidence, imo

Loved that question from a furious shareholder. Just a shame they hid behind virtual agm’s and pre prepared questions for the past few years.

There's no organic growth in covid. It happened as a one off, got some decent revenue for a few years, then totally fell off. We're back to where we were pre covid, but with a bloated headcount and, on the plus side, a good amount of cash for the time being.

Positive news for those in for a trade as that takes the theoretical cash balance over £40m now, £36m at end of April add £7m, less cash burn. Should spike it to 60p ish to match cash, before tracking back down on no news.

i wouldn’t say that, amers, but i’m glad others are seeing the light as well. i wish i had far sooner. ****e aim company doing ****e aim things. the cash war chest is purely to keep the salaries rolling in for a a few years. it’ll be down to 1-2m by close of 2026.

Bear in mind the SP is what it is, 34k buys/sells aren't as significant as they used to be. Given the money they're on, you want to see the board buying 100/150/200k shares (quantity, not value of). Heck, even that absolute clown DA put £100k in as far as I recall. Obviously an awful investment as SP was over £2 but if nothing else it showed intent, even if it was completely misjudged intent.

Why are many quitting? Imagine like me they were in for a gamble on the dispute hoping for a windfall yet all we got was a smaller loss and multi millions in legal fees. A total waste of 3 years. The RNS was so brief it told very little, they've issued absolutely no forecast for the year and there have been no directors buys for years, indicating zero hope on their part.

Oh and the company loses tens of millions a year.

Possibly a bit but nowhere near as much as last time, cannot for a second believe that big pharma won't be all over it this time. They'll have seen the money that Novashyte made in 2020 and want a bit of it for themselves. And governments will want to give it to their mates in the big companies rather than tiny AIM companies.

The last Director buy was in march 2022 and that was by David Allmond. JW also bought a few since, but other than that nothing.

Seems so, yes. Although I take no pleasure in my dabble in ncyt as it ended with an 85% loss of capital. 59p/45p/40p etc hardly any different, the damage was done a long time ago (self inflicted).

Very much doubt the vat would come into it. Expecting two government departments to talk to each other is a massive hope

Well the best case scenario is that ncyt don’t have to pay it, which is what everyone is assuming given that the £5m payoff was to close the case. Credits the P&L, removed from the balance sheet and everyone moves on.

Amers what £20m are you referring to?

Simmulla - cash plus assets is around £70m (see my calculation in the other thread), why would there be an almost 200% premium to that?

Also the P&L will be impacted by the write off of the £23.9m debtor balance which relates to dhsc, as this obviously won’t be paid. So this will adversely impact the P&L.

When all said and done though, it does leave cash around £40m and a balance sheet of around £70m (from the year end accounts cash down 44 to 40 which is the current 36.5 + net vat rebate and 5m payment, debtors down 32.5m and liabilities down 20m). A reasonable position now the dispute has gone - maybe selling out at 41m marcap wasn’t a great ideal after all! That said, factor in some more 10-15m trading losses and you can see why the market is discounting it.

As another poster mentioned, I think it’s ripe for takeover now that dispute has gone. Clear out all the useless management and run it properly and there may be something there.

Exmex you initially said the reversed provision would go back to cash. It wouldn’t.

What I’d expect to happen is the provision reduced by £5m and cash the same, so a decrease in the liability and assets, and then the £14.9m provision reversed to the P&L.

You do realise P&L credit doesn’t always = cash in the bank?
