A surprise announcement. I think that Redmile are going to move quickly so as to have a US listing for Scancell soon. If so, it will be accelerate US investor participation in Scancell and imo lead to a sp rerating.

Nothing directed at any PI but I would not be investing in Scancell if the likes of Redmile and Vulpes were not heavily invested and therefore having control over the company and to some extent the sp. The irrationality of so many PIs would have resulted in a trader’s dream in which many would have lost an awful lot of money.Scancell is a proper business whose value will be realised over the coming months and I believe within a couple of years.

I thought that it looked like a sell given the rise in the sp. If it is a buy would there not be an equivalent sell somewhere?

I see that the glass half empty lot are here expressing doubt all over again.

We should all know by now that there was a very large position which was liquidated last year and which caused the sp to suffer. I think that it was 24m odd.

There has also been a VCT which has been liquidating stock, 5m last year with about 5m to go.

In the context of where Scancell is now with IScib1+ and with news shortly re Modi , Sc134 amongst others, I am not concerned about my investment. Patience will IMO win out amidst short term trading by some.

IC is a typical conservative UK publication with little or no inclination to back exciting biotech companies. Another reason to have a quote in the USA and to look for investors from outside of the UK.

Bermuda…..”whilst we might see a spike” is where I disagree with your assessment. I think that if and when we hear that the FDA has given the go ahead, there will be a re-rating of the stock.

IMO you are vastly underplaying how important it is for Scancell to have FDA approval for the stage 3 trials.

Furthermore, Scancell have previously given substantial PFS data on a number of cohorts amounting to more than 100 patients.

As far as I know Scancell are producing DNA vaccines not MRNA. So why Scancell is mention by Dr LeonardI do not know.

Hopefully will be gone very soon if not done.

PH said earlier in the year that timelines on news would be met which was a failing of LD previously. I wonder what is going on with the MODI timeline? It would beneficial if the company answered this today.

There may well be an institution as before adjusting their positions all round. They do not necessarily read or care about the timelines.

The good to come out of this is that they are selling out at a low price which enables others to buy in cheaply.

Hopefully the upcoming trial results will change all this.

Re the Diggle purchases, the closed period relates to financial reporting and deals not to the release of data on trials which could come at any time. PH has said third quarter and I will stick with that for a Modi release and fourth quarter for IScib1+ data.

I think that your pessimism is misplaced.

Loads on the near horizon. On the basis that the company sticks to well publicised plans, potentially transformational news is due within the next 4 months and may well be multi faceted.

My thoughts on that are there could not be much stock around at these levels for the time being.
