Thanks Grumps, and I hope you're well. Cheque has just arrived in the post now so all good here:)
Has anyone without an online trading account recieved thier cheque in the post yet? I hold my own certificate and ive yet to recieve anything yet.
I just emailed wtg investor relations and they wrote back confirming WTG havent stated a repayment date yet so quite soon could still be as late as the end of June.
Please correct me if im wrong, but the serious fraud office are still investigating the 3 year old sic "ancient history" hansam, so like it or not it potentially has plenty of bearing on the current setup.
Rob Terry's radio interview on BRR Media 4th March 2014: https://www.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcasts/541100f43665390da700024f/event/?livelink=true For anyone who forgot this, have a listen with hindsight to how much $hit rob terry shamelessly talked in it.
Hi Grumpy I did see that one, but funds frequently buy and sell WTG so I didn't get too excited about it personally. Have fun playing golf. Hope you get a birdie.
What's that other saying? "A fool and his money are easily parted". And that other one? "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". Should we also look out for considerable and prolonged ramping? It's easy to spot, sans reasoning.
Investors - (cash rich - institutional) have leeway over the company with their monies and additional voting rights. They must be bowed down to because they really can make a difference. One must be wary of them because they're more likely to be playing the market than actually believing in a company per se. Shareholders - are collectively good clumped together, but they moan a lot so they must be managed like a flock of sheep. Plastic statements are especially useful to achieve this goal but it should be noted they can't all be fooled at the same time.
Yawn. Pull the wool away from your eyes marsh.
Bottom Line = still loss making with a burning cash pile. Future plans? The ambitions of the board seem to revolve around packaging up WTG to sell it off. I would have thought they might have some better direction by now, but thinking about it, perhaps theyre choosing the best action because WTG just seems to consistently run at a loss. Credit is due for that loss being reduced, but loss is loss, no matter what colour its painted. I'm not at all convinced in the slightest by any empty rhetoric suggesting returning value to shareholders. The results are hardly surprising. They just reiterate what we should all already know.
My apologies lindoser. I forgot this forum is the only place in the world to get information on qpp and wtg.
Thanks Dar. TW jumped on quindells back just after the Gotham city research report (April 2014). I'm not sure you were around back then, in fact I'm positive you couldn't have been, but don't take "baldrick's" word for it. The share chart from the last few years should explain it if you're having any trouble understanding what I mean. ie: it's only gone down since, then down some more, then consolidated, then down more, etc etc. Why? Because it really was pretty much a country club buit on quicksand. With upper estimates of the market cap being 2.7 billion back then, what market cap do we have now? 41.89million. Dont just look at WTG's share price history, look at QPP's too (go back to april 2014). I think you'll find its the missing piece of the jigsaw of your understanding. TW may be a bit of a tool, but he was barking at the right tree. It's very easy to call me silly names, but I'd rather you put up a counter argument with substance instead of demeaning the conversation to petulant name calling. Atb.
I'd be the first to agree that TW never got his point across in the most eloquent manner however in hindsight I'd be a darn sight richer if I had listened to him bashing quindell, as I'm sure the vast majority of long term holders here would be. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.
What is Goodwood Revival? It sounds like a holistic impotence retreat.
Thanks grumpy it makes me feel good to know I've made you chuckle on this rainy miserable day:) I still wonder how anyone could have done their due diligence here unless they know something we don't. Maybe they're on blueshare or something;) I'm definitely a second rate punter. I thought I made a calculated decision investing here. Despite my rotten luck (and being led down the path by a few suspected white collar crims), I may have well done better down the bookies as I supped on the free subsidised cups of PG tips they provide as an incentive to keep me in there, after all a cup of tea is far better than a kick in the teeth. No tractor for me in the field. I had to sell the old Massey Ferguson to cover my losses here. My seeds are hand sown with love care and attention now. Sometimes I sit and talk to my fledging seedlings. I ask them.. where did I go wrong, but they never answer. They just sway in the breeze, seemingly nodding thier heads at me when I ask them if I'm mad. Here's hoping you're right and correct and I'm wrong and incorrect. It won't do me (or anyone else invested here) any harm to witness a jesus-esque financial miracle:)
50p is a great guess grumpy. It would certainly follow the trend of this share since Gotham. I'm at a loss to figure out why anyone would have ploughed money into this over recent months. There has been no news at all and there's still a good few guns pointing at this company. Whoever is driving the tractor and doing the ploughing must either be simple, in the know or have a unhealthy penchant for high odds gambling. If anyone has a better guess please post....
Yawn. Put your milkbottles on and read the first message marsh. It hasn't dissappeared. It said deferred prosecution agreements - they concern both the SFO and WTG, and while you're at it please try and understand that I don't spend my life on here so don't be expecting instant replies to your bile filled passive aggressive essays. In fact don't expect any replies at all, just go away already. Have a break and go for a drive in the mazda or something, rev her up and go for a drive on the open road, get it all out of your system, but please just be careful you dont knock anyone over.
marsh may i suggest you consider the global circumstances and read the companies act 2006 in its entirity rather than just quoting one second hand almost irrelevant factor to be considered. The SFO investigating is not old news, its current. I won't rule it out that you know more than the SFO though because you might well do for all I know. How do you drive a mazda by the way? You once made out you were almost blind and used it to try and get me banned from here because someone else called you mr magoo.
I'm not sure how old those CPS guidelines are but: the law changed in 2014, and the SFO are still investigating. I think it's more likely they're flexing their knuckles, keen to wield their new powers of deffered prosecution agreements, but we wouldn't know because that can be done behind closed doors without even going to court. It's only made public when the fire is found. One would have to be blind to miss the billowing smoke.
