ECO's net current assets position is huge at around 22M or 19p per share assuming the Total farm out goes ahead, which looks a dead cert to me. This gives an enterprise valuation of only 8.4M for all the exploration assets. Even if we ignore all the Namibian assets and assume no increase in P50 figures from the 3D results then at a 15% working interest, ECO is being valued at around 6p/BOE (!) on an EV basis for two fully funded drills targeting 135 MMBOE net recoverable directly next to and on trend with some of the best disoveries of the last decade. No wonder Total wants to farm in and no wonder Africa Oil were willing to pay a huge premium to get in yesterday. The upside here will be immense once the market finally wakes up.
