Chill G. The SP action on the TSX was a nonsense. ECO as a company, as an investment is a fantastic proposition. I tried to get 50K shares from the open the morning, but the most I could get sub 150p was 2500 at 149p. The the wall of buying, repeated price auctions and immense difficulty in getting shares speaks volumes about the quality of and demand for this stock. Shenanigans like this is often a portent of a SP that is about to increase very strongly very soon. GLALTH

Me too Diversified. My expectation is this is a smash and grab for shares ahead of the Joe-1 result. The 6 months of unrelenting pressure ahead of the Jethro-1 result meant that the SP was at a major low directly beforehand. Consequently a lot of would be investors were left on the sideines when it was were announced. Since then they've piled into to the shares to build their positions driving the SP higher leaving few shares avaiable. What better way to free up some shares for the market makers and big boys than a smash and grab. The RKH analogy sounds about right. Expect a quick dip on open and then a very sharp rebound as everyone and their dog piles in to get what they can while the sale is on. Won't be surprised to see an RNS from Gil in the morning.

Prior to ECO signing for Orinduik in January 2016 only one discovery had been made on Exxon's block in May 2015. The second was not made until 30 June 2016, five months after ECO entered the country. How on earth could anyone have known that things would have turned out as well as they have when ECO signed. For goodness sake there had already been two dusters on Orinduik prior to that. Does the Guyana opposition think oil exploration is a charity? We've risked huge amounts of our own capital here and could have lost a lot of money had it not been successful.

If the opposition thinks the government should have had more exposure to the non-Exxon blocks, they should have got the government to purchase shares in the open market AS I SUGGESTED THEY DO MORE THAN 12 MONTHS AGO. The SP didn't really get going here until the Hammerhead result was announced, so they could have bought at around 30p for months even after 8 discoveries had been made on the Stabroek block. Did the penny not drop? If it was obvious to us ordinary folk thousands of miles away, why couldn't they see it when it was staring them in the face. I guess they were too busy freeloading off the Guyana tax payer and hating on Exxon to do some simple research like the rest of us to notice the fantastic opportunity staring them in the face. They have only themselves to blame. I even suggested ages ago that they get Gil to do a special placing to allow them to buy a small percentage. My suggestion if you're listening Government of Guyana is stop whinging, take off the rose tinted hindsight goggles and BUY THE SHARES IN THE OPEN MARKET LIKE THE REST OF US. There is still huge upside from these levels (particularly now) for you to do very well for the people of Guyana.

Does make you wonder if the price has been dropped to let someone in before the result of Joe-1? I expect the 600 US troops that have just arrived in Guyana will be watching this shenanigans closely for any signs of marxist interference.
