Not when it's dwarfed by the 375M shares in the pulled placing it's not.

However, if they keep schtum the huge increase in SP should make it much easier to get a placing away at a later date and at a very good price, so I expect all we'll hear for now is crickets.

And that's a key point. If the scenario is as suspected then today's sells should be people taking profits and not flippers selling. Flippers wouldn't be competing with us to sell shares but to buy the scant number of shares available in the free float. If you sell you would just be help them, but if you buy it would reduce the free float and make it even harder for them to cover and the SP should soar. Time to sell would only be after they had managed to cover most or all of their positions i.e. when they have bought however many of the 375M shares they may have forward sold. I don't see many shares purchased yet today so not much covering has been possible yet if that's the scenario.

If this scenario is in play we are not be competing with flippers to sell share but to buy them. If you keep buying and don't sell any shares they would have to bid it higher and higher to cover their positions. Given the gargantuam amount of shares this could take while to play out.

If I remember correctly NEW took a day or two to get going as folks stood around in disbeilef that it would actually go supernova and then the SP exploded and they realised they had been looking a gift horse in the mouth.

As the placing was 136% the size of the outstading shares prior to the placing there won't be enough shares in the open market to cover the whole placing if it was forward sold. Surely that can mean only one thing. BOOM! The more new people buy the worse it should get. 2p 3p 4p 5p...

Looks like a similar situation. If shares have been forward sold by flippers and the placing is pulled they will surely have to buy them in the open market at any price to cover their positions, which should send the SP suernova as was the case with New World Oil & Gas a few years ago which did nearly 1000% in just a few days. Everyone that buys would just squeeze the flippers even more desperately and send this into the stratosphere. Got to be worth a small punt. GLA
