By far the biggest investor in Kenya is China, $6Bn and a lot of this debt matures this year. They have built a massive oil terminal in Mombasa for instance yet don’t seem to feature in the oil field development but I’m quit confident that they are behind a lot of of our frustrations here, only my opinion.

Yes Anton there are indeed lots of types that benefit from a dirt cheap SP for Tullow, those closing shorts, those that actually want to build a holding, those that trade and even those that might be eyeing a takeover. When these act in concert we get the dramatic drops that we are now witnessing imo, hopefully for the last time.

…LW a 15% drop in 5 days is not a drift down. Oil is not low, in fact it’s up on the same period. This drop is a calculated, manipulated mugging, part of an ongoing scenario, unfortunately.
