my thoughts exactly , great news , but not so great if we don't know how much its worth and is it a new contract with glencore or just a renewal of an old contract that finished , well at least they are giving us some news , which is better than none i suppose
reading the comments on here , it would seem that we are minutes away from doom or minutes away from boom pardon the pun , on one hand we are told we are in the best shape we have ever been in , but on the other hand the share price has colapsed down to a level were few people are in profit , we are told we are going to be profitable next year , sorry but didn't that story get told last year ,the figures are coming and we are told they are going to be great , think iv herd that one before as well , which if so great why did the broker forecast reduce by 10 million. this share reminds me of the lego movie -everything is wonderful !!! .if ever i was confused on which way a share is going to go this is it. on one hand the company keeps putting out kpi figs with lots of zero's increase on ly figs so i think great we must be on the right track , plus you read all the stuff about how big the market in the usa is for podcasters
and how much money there is being spend on adverts 1 billion ,2 billion ect , and you think to yourself we can't lose
then you look at recent events failed merger , more dilution , loss making results, share price colapse and think what are we doing wrong , i just think this is going to be one of the best investments i ever made OR one of the worst !!! i really don't know which way this will turn out
gl to all
thxs hawalifiveo for that info ,nice to see a valid set of figures behind what you expect our production to be based on past history , as for being undervalued well time will tell whether the market is right or wrong , thats the beauty of investing -its all about timing when a company is under valued and when its overvalued
thxs mike , been here 4 years , and still waiting for gold , just frustrated with the lack of information and constant moving of the goal posts , on the plus side I've got the results of the last four world cup results correct so I'm up on that investment anyway !!!!
VINCENT -don't get me wrong i love being 85% down , nothing would make me happier to be proved wrong and i agree with you on low overheads debt free but as you and the rest of the board can't seem to give me nor CB is how much we are producing the last rns says its more than q1 , well thats no hard as q1 was FA !!! not really that hard to beat is it zero and you seemed to skipped the question on were the payments money is for not hitting targets ,sorry I'm not having a go at you but most of the posters on here seem to pretend anything is wonderful this is beginning to become a dell boy aim company -this time next year rodney !!!!
don't post on here often , but reading some of the posts about how great an asset we have baffles me , correct me if I'm wrong but the plan was simple get 3/4 mining companies to mine different areas get the gold out the ground and pay xtr a percentage of the gold mined put in a couple of clauses to guarantee a minimum payment and targets to hit so either way we get paid , err next we here we paid them whf 400,000 how the hell is that positive and as for gold out of the ground well we are still waiting , oh am sorry it rained too hard and we couldn't mine the gold , upto now in six months please can anybody tell me how much gold we have mined , who owns the gold and what is our cut.the contracts seem to change daily , no penalties seem to have been enforced and hence no cash payments made if the asset is so good why have two mining companies failed the mine any gold !!!!! this may seen a bit of a rant , but that won't change the facts , nor the share price we are at this price for a reason NO GOLD FOUND NOR MINED !!!!
Thanks jet , i hope that this really does come good for you and fellow shareholders , and rest assured i won't be commenting on this board once am out ,i too never understand comments from people who are not invested gl mate onwards and upwards hopefully
thank you both for your input tonight , you both helped me confirm what i already thought , that this company is going nowhere fast and that there will be at least two further dilutions required before any profit maylbe seen , while the market for audio advertising is booming audio boom doesn't have the size nor capital to reliase this great potential ,why do you think it tried to buy a massive company , it is out of options and money hence the placement ,I'm not saying it can't reach 20/25 million sales and turn a profit but iv seen too many aim companies with jam tomorrow promises doing placement after placement with promises of jam next year ,then just one more year and so on ,remember when they promised to break even three years ago and now one more year err sorry maybe next year missing targets 6 million err sorry 4.7 million next year 15 million err sorry make that 10 million I'm sorry guys but my order to sell is in ,i wish you all the best but for me this is now uninvestable . ,
jesus christ - $1.6 million in one off costs , assume this is for fees for candy's loan notes + fees for the 4.5 million placement and fees for the failed takeover so and correct me if I'm wrong but if we add the 610,000 payment in shares the total cost is 2.2 million dollars for a failed take over , however reading in the report 1 million of this may have been relocation cost of staff as it states cost savings of 650,00 and 350.00 for this year will be saved so are they one off cost !!! either way it doesn't look good for the year end admin figs does it .
for any shareholders or potential investors , it was not my intention to mislead any one over the costs incurred for the failed takeover ,as pointed out by jetsetwilly the total cost of this have yet to be determined but are 90,000 plus fees and not as stated by grenadier as $1.6 million grenadier if you could direct me to this 1.6 million cost for the failed taker over i will again post an apology many thanks pet
i stand corrected , but i am correct on 90,000 in cash and the rest in shares and not as grenadier fig of $1.6 million you state that admin costs may not increase , then in the next sentence say they will increase , make your mind up !! you are indeed correct as sales increase gross profit increases as i stated we still need 20 million in sales (i actually think 22 million is our break even point which means we will need further placements in the next two years . jet - please don't think I'm trying to get the share price down , i am invested heavily in this share and on thursday i am probably going to lose 20 grand plus in one day i want this to succeed like every other share holder on here ,i am merely pointing out that at the current rate based on the previous years i can,t see the cost going down given the past record of the rns statement also its alright for a company to say we are cost cutting but actually doing it is something different given that we were told that we were on target to hit 6.0 million and then come in at 4.7 million with an excuse of revenue was being paid on the next quarter simple doesn't wash we were also told no more placement and dilution was required hmmmmmm i wish you well in your investment but for me if i can out on thursday for over 2.75 I'm out good luck to all
you really need to learn to read , we are not paying cash to triton you idiot we are paying them in shares and 90,000 in cash and 2017 admin expensives was 6.4 million(yes $8.6 million) but the cost of acquisition was 118,000 ****@@@ learn to read a simple report and last years admin 2016 was 5.1 million which is increase of 25% on the previous year so iy would be fair to say that an increase of 30% for this year would be fair estimate given that we are land grabbing - its simple the more customers we create the bigger your costs will be .
whether its edit or ebitda doesn't change the fact that this company will have to do more dilution and raise more cash in the next two years and for the record its ebitda as stated in the research notes by Allenby so no i haven't got them mixed up!!!
gredaller the figures i am using are the ones in the audited report are recorded as a statement of fact gross profit figs are total sales minus cost of sales divide the total cost of sales by this figure to get your gross margin if you sell some thing for a 1 and it cost you 50p your gross margin is 50% you then have to take away your other costs such as admin ,when all cost are deducted you are left with a figure this may be positive ie profit or negitive - a loss this figure is usually given as the ebitda - Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) its not rocket science what im saying is the figures Allenby are quoting are bollo@@@s from the actual figures given from the actual end of year report they simple don't add up .
thxs kdogg , just read it , now thats a work of fiction , so they have revised that sales from 15 million to 10 million( 13.6million us dollars iv converted to pounds. i don't know about you but thats a reduction of 5 million so assuming a profit rate of 35% (high est) thats 3.5 million before costs , they estimate a loss 2.3 million which means admin cost for this year are 5.8 million considering that admin this year was 7.6 million which was 30% up from the previous year assume 30% increase again as we land grab for this year you get 9-10 million cost which give a loss of between 5-6.5 million AS I SAID 2020-2021 before profit is made
losing less - i hope i am wrong ,, but i'm not going to be far off , you say i am very wrong ,please explain which of my figures are so wrong , the profit figures are taken from the companies rns and the projected fig is from their broker please enlighten us all on how the company is making a profit when the accounts show a loss of 4.6 million or so for the last year
gunner I'm with you , if this is over 3p a share at the end of trading bring an extra fork for your hat , as for hitting target we didn't -the forecast from allenby was 5.4 million which is also less than i thought , I'm sure i read somewhere the forecast for the year gone was 6.9 million but i could be wrong also looking at the accounts we are going to need a revenue of over 22 million just to brake even , the target for year is 15 million assuming we hit this we will make a loss for between 3-4 million this is based on the following gross margin of 30-35% so gross profit on 15m is 4.5-5.5 million but admin costs will be between 8-10 million thus a loss of 3.5-4.5 million , so as an investor ,do i forget these for the next two years and hope at the end of this year we can again raise another 4-5 million until the follow year we break even and then in 2021 start to make a profit .As a risk / reward share i can see plenty of downside but not a lot of upside , the management need to be honest about when they see this company making money and not just stating we are making progress and spouting meaningless kpi figures all with great % figures up from last year as the old saying goes turnover is vanity profit is sanity
we should get some news , but don't hold your breath , we were promised an up date within two weeks of the rns dated 25 may , well today is the 14th day -lets see
for the lth who has been thro hell and back , over the last four years , the position of the company has never been so good , i have seen the share price go from 4p to 30p and back down to 2.8p up to 10p so yes some of the people on here are hyping the share with good reason , but like all BB there are only a few people who's views i respect and follow what i don't like is statements which are made without facts or a sound basis , everyone is entitled to an opinion such as yourself but if you are going to make a statement such as this share is going nowhere and it will never hit 10P ever, please explain why this is so - make a case for not investing in this share , but don't just make statements just for the shock value .
squareballs - you beat me to it !! - some people think 1 day is a long time in investing spur i suggest you go away and read all about warren buffet and his investment strategy - when once asked how long you should keep a share for -his response was- forever !!!!
