50-second Covid test designed for use in schools and airports
https://inews.co.uk/news/covid-test-50-second-use-schools-travel-airports-uk-regulator-approval-1379701
I did see an article on this a few months ago.
Chinese using a VERY similar font (but not identical) to the British CE mark font.
Apparently when it was questioned, it was said its an abbreviation for Chinese Export….if this is true, it is Very sneaky indeed!!
The Tim Peto article could (and probably was) written by our own Government!
ODX, Avacta, Abingdon health, etc need to jump on this and respond sharpish.
ODX, AVTC, ABDX, etc… fight your corner now and stop leaving your shareholders to do what little they can to get the truth out there to the wider public! Tick- tock - you’ve got till a plane arrives on a Heathrow runway full of useless Chinese test from china!!
KitKateat
You take about chinese going through certain standards...
Here a standar for you:
CE marking is required for many products. It: 1. shows that the manufacturer has checked that these products meet EUsafety, health or environmental requirements.
The Chinese test have 'CE' on the boxes... does that mean they're product has been checked for EU use?
Nope... they just added (in a very, very, similar font) CE on their boxes - which stands for 'Chinese Export' !!
Kitkateat
Do you think a deal is done with china and thats the cost?... Nope, there's a lot more 'greasing of palms' and corruption in such deals that no believe.
Again... what the video. Hopefully then you'll notice what drivel you are writing on here.

Absolute BS!...
I suggest you give this a watch:

Porky9
My sentiments exactly, as my previous post worded it very similar to your.
So fed up with Colin bashers on here... they guy was duped!
Absolutely disgraceful!
As a business owner, wouldn't you be 'chuffed to bits' to win a government contact for multiple millions.
So, you get a contact which is amazing for the company...
But buried in the small print:
We don't promise to place any orders on this contract.
And, if we don't give you any orders, you'll actually owe us millions of dosh!
Now I know its quite naive of ODX to presume this contact was legit and above board, (and for not getting a good legal team to scrutinise it thoroughly before signing it). But I feel so sorry for Colin (and of course the other covid test companies in the UK) who have, in my opinion, been well-and-truly hoodwinked by our corrupt government.
What a corrupt bunch of****** our leaders of the country are.
The UK Gov. is no better than any other 'dodgy', crooked business.
Disgraceful!!
TODAY: Please ignore the trolls and any negative comments....
After the fantastic news this morning, now is definitely the time we can Drown them out!!
Do not answer them!..
Apparently (and unfortunately) 'kills covid' breaches Amazon rules, therefore the listing cannot contain this info.... stupid I know, and very frustrating!
Benny
Took my comment the wrong way mate... I was curious if the '4 numbers on the end on the CE mark' had changed ... or anything thats maybe changed to help the public decipher what was actually legal and what wasn't.
BearGrylls... who said anything about Omega being mentioned?
Just found it quite frustrating how all these guidelines for flying are so complicated when it comes to which tests can be used and how certain airline approved tests that don't actually meet the legal regs set by the gov.... you tit!
"That story is 2 weeks old....Weve moved on from there :)"
Oh really?... how has it moved on Benny?

"NNN mask is a type IIR, not a FFP mask that the article mentions".
Woops, yeah, I forgot that. Which is probably NNN's achilles when it comes to tendering.
Austrian Airlines, Air France, Croatia Airlines, Czech Airlines, Finnair, Lufthansa, and Swissair have banned 'cloth' masks and insist on passengers wear medical-grade mask.
Hope NNN are pushing for a pitch to supply!

Anyone know how to find out who's tests the Thai 's have approved for use?

Just a quick question CaptainSwag... one that you can surely easy to answer:
What good do you think it does, day after day, hour after hour, constantly bashing ODX and Colin King with 1000's of negative posts on this BB?
I (along with lots of others on here) will be interested in your answer.
Many thanks.

Yes, branding is 100% whats needed.
Early on in mask launch (all those months ago) I actually offered Dr Cave my companies services in relation of design and marketing of the product. (including a unique video advert for social media etc.) But it fell on deaf ears and I never even got a reply!
The company really don't have a clue about product launch, the importance of branding and promotion... if this had been done properly months ago, I'm sure the mask would be mainstream now and pretty much a household name across the world.
Lets hope and pray some good comes of this India deal and the mask gains organic exposure.
Good luck to you too with your investment.
I can’t understand why they don’t brand the mask. Even if it was just embossed on a corner of the material., wouldn’t cost much and it’d speak volumes.
Hi Doom.
I haven't taken the Foodprint 100 allergy test, but I think I might try it - I never considered it so thanks for the heads up.
My colleague took a similar intolerance text a few weeks ago (done through the NHS), he came up intolerant to cashews too and tea of all things!
When I was younger I had allergen tests (Patch tests and needle tests where they break the skin in around 40 places and drip various liquids onto the the skin). The results basically came up with me being allergic to quite a lot of stuff, but nothing stood out particularly serious. Im sure testing (in more modern methods) has come along a long way since then though so would be a good idea to give the Foodprint 100 allergy test ago now.
3 years ago, I had a comprehensive test (electronic type with wires placed on my head and body hooked up to a computer) in a clinic in Chiang Mai, Thialand. I can't remember the exact name of the test, but it came back with all sorts of weird things! I bought a course of capsules and pills as recommended. On my return to the UK I shared the results with my GP and he smirked a little and said, don't read to much into this test and results... hmmm
BTW I'm not 'anti-vax' or anything like that and I have nothing but praise for our NHS (thanks to them they have saved my life on a few occasions) , I just found the documentary (Malcolm is a little unwell) quite shocking.
Good luck with your ODX holding - good things will come!
