Thanks, I had been tempted to average down on several occasions, especially when the price was below £1 but decided it might have been too risky, plus the existing money holding is quite large so it might not have made a great difference as I could only afford a much smaller re investment amount. I will just have to hope and wait for time to pass a little more and believe this company delivers in the future years. 😊

Yes, I will also be saying good if it gets up to £10.50 when I might be at last in profit after 7 years, but not confident at this point in time though. 😊

I suspect VP has joined Wellington as a short trader.😊

I m glad to say that although all 4 of my shares are currently at a paper loss, things overall have improved in the last few months at long last, and any future gains will be offset by the same value in monetary value of any paper losses.

Therefore I hopefully I will not incur CGT for quite a time, if ever, on my total holdings.

I don’t fancy paying this tax after several years of misery, only Bt and Vodafone have provided some relief paying dividends minus the 2 years from BT, whereas Saga and Ocado don’t pay any at present.

I am still puzzled why the share price is lower than the £4.60 odd that was before Covid.

Maybe more debt? More goodwill write downs?

A sound overall plan Fleccy.

I currently have a few thousand more shares in Bt than yourself bur I am still currently £49k down as a paper loss. In addition, I am £31k down with Vodafone as a paper loss but receiving dividends from both of course.

I believe in time, my holdings will be in profit along with Ocado and Saga, then time to take a holiday after a drought of many years.

Roll on a happier future for all of us.😊

Thank you for your comments, I suspect that there are many other investors that are extremely under with this share.😒

Unfortunately I did not research the company well enough at the time of purchase which was mostly before the dreaded results in October 2018. The Private Equity Company, I believe Charterhouse, left Saga burdened with debt, they are the ones that I am livid about and my carelessness too. 😊

I could have averaged down, especially when the share price was around 0.98p but thought it was money going into the drain as my holding in money terms is quite substantial. Instead, I bought Ocado but have also suffered over a year with declines in that share price, although things may be looking up now.

I have decided that if Ocado and my other 2 shares recover, any profit gains from them will be offset against selling some of the Saga holding, I really do not want to pay CGT to any government.😊

I hope these good reviews reflect in the share price in future, it’s a long way yet for me to break even, at £10.37.

Only then, will I be able to say the nightmare is finally over.😊
