As you point out Max, up to 2Mt Pa, also the 6 year mine life has gone to 10yr. This has probably triggered extra port capacity negotiations based upon additional volume, impacts on roadhaul storage and shipping. I can only imagine that the economics have got better, and we may be looking to an improved cost per ton in the final costing study leading to FID.

Probably a very good reason why the website / presentation is not updated yet, being impacted by some busy people with calculators I expect!

CJ, but equally it would not have been a surprise for the applicants that the licence was to be added to the system some days beforehand. These things are procedural, and providing the procedures have been followed and qualification for the licence has been met, its largely a no-brainer.

I wonder if the CEO is a distraction. How about a JV with a partner, using an experienced Project Director - this keeps costs down and delivers the ore from the ground? Financial reporting is relatively straight forward, and from what I understand the current team have enough knowledge / resources on tap to handle this. JV may mean a simple royalty payment to IOCA for every ton shifted by the partner, Alien does not necessarily have to have the overheads.

Well, there it is, permission to mine. A very happy day for all holders both LTH and STH. Lets now hope that we get an uptick to acknowledge that we are a huge step forward in putting a shipment onto a lorry and generating cash. Well done to the Alien team having navigated some strong headwinds to get us to this point. I for one will be enjoying a pint this evening on this news.

Makes sense, the roadworks spotted on the Great Northern Travel map whilst I was looking for the notification for the access road junction being added

god only knows...however our last update (8th feb) with regard to han**** mining was:

"development approvals currently remain on track to be in place by mid-2024, allowing for site development to commence in 2024 and first ore sales to be achieved in q1 2025."

therefore the license is still happening soon, agreement with partners in progress and we sell some ore in less than a year.

It would be useful (unless I've missed something) for the hurdles to the licence be laid out. The "not knowing" is killing investor confidence.

His LinkedIn feed shows a lot of support / and a bit of reposting Alwyns messages re Alien.

Just a bit of research on a credible investor with a long career in mining and finance. Lets hope his mantra "The challenge is to prove nay-sayers wrong" comes true in the next few Q's

Happy with that RNS, it appears lots of work going on in the background in producing the study, advancing the offtake talks and significantly; indicating improvement in the available resource.

All in all good work.

The sales can appears to have been slightly pushed to the right with "Ore sales... Q1 '25"

"Attractive project economics highlight the robustness of the project with its low start-up cost, sustainable operational costs along with the significant upside from future exploration plans."

Hopefully a positive updated research note now we have some near final numbers on the table and a confident move in the share price ahead.

Hi Max - I believe also, but without the evidence I can see slipping timelines! I admire you positivity and share it, but lets try and put some facts on the table.

I've checked the great northern highway for notice of road works, apart from an overtaking lane being constructed, there are no advisories / notes for a new access point. I believe 2020 also has satellite images that show nothing....

Where and when is the mining license hearing scheduled? In the North there is an open access DB to view this info, do you have a link to the WA system?

Max, where do you think the mining license is in progress?

From the last update where we had Heritage clearance this should have lead to the access road construction and licensee for approval. Is the road being constructed and is there a portal in the license with hearing date?
