“A lot of these artists I see on Instagram, they’re used to being on stage in front of 50,000 people,” Matchett says. “Clearly at home in your kitchen, you don't have the same sort of show, or even close to the same sort of performance you normally deliver to fans.

“They’re kind of cool, but it’s not something you're going to do all year,” he continues. “The industry is certainly looking at how they can partake in something that's a little more structured.”

The 800 plus acts are not being released because there’s a 12 month royalty free period where MVR keep all the revenue. My guess is the back catalog will be released with a subscription model, possibly with a US telco and a free MVR viewer

Absolutly spot on Keith. Most on here wouldnt know how to run a bath never mind a global company who are partners withthe biggest labels, biggest start and biggest tech companies on the planet. The RNS said (despite clowns on here not bothering to read) that they had live gigs planned but not announced that would have taken months of meticupous planning for MVR, the labels, the artists, the producers, the tech companies to deliver it, Facebook, Ticketing outlets etc etc and all that had to be postponed. They then would have to start planning all over again for the 3 studios and related events.

These imbeciles think its as simple as putting their apron on to start their shift or McDonalds to flip a few burgers or pull on their Asda sweatshirt to stack a few shelves.

Where Matchett made a mistake was to say 'within a week or so' if he didnt know for certain that would be possible. It frustrates me too but on the flip side has allowed me more top ups for my wife and my new ISAs. I'm in until they sell so fantastic to be able to keep adding at these lever with news due 'within a week or so'
